She got that shot off in about a half a second after catching the ball...That is a quick release baby!

That's what a lot of us was complaining about her last year so that is great she's working on it but being better physically has a lot to do with that also. so well done on improving over the off season.she had to for the betterment of the team as well as herself given she has atleast two years left to get even better dont underestimate her she can make a future WNBA roster

SEC play Tess took off ! Im excited to see how much more she has improved as she did from year 1 to 2 . Her defense is what i want to be a bit more consistent. Teams focus on her on that end and attack her / pick on her due to slow foot movement . Im praying she has gotten quicker on defense or that will limit her minutes. Last season we did not have many options to go to if she could not get stops . This year we have multiple options , Tess should assume the role of Sharpshooter off the bench same as Pissott this season and focus on doing that 1 special thing . Knock down the outside shot when you come in #GREENLIGHT

Tess was injured most of year one. I think she would have made bigger leaps a year ago had she been able to go as a freshman. Looking at her physique from last year to now is like night and day. That alone is going to help her tremendously. She is giving off Marina Mabry vibes with the long range shooting. I think the physical part of it will help her mindset. I am also hoping that she has tightened her handles in the off-season too. That would be huge for her. That will help her as a shooter if someone has to worry that she is able to put the ball on the floor and get around them. It gives that extra step that allows shooters to get the ball off more efficiently.

Her physique is night and day and that should be a lesson to any young lady when you play in a big time conference like the SEC you got to put the work in on your body because this league is strong and fast i just cant give Abby Conklin enough credit for helping her as well as the others she worked with but we all know that LVFL sisterhood is like no other in wbb

She looks great , but i wont go as far as Marina Mabrey vibes lol . Mabrey is literally a beast in the W versus whom she assumed the role of in college at ND under muffett.

Go back and look at Mabrey in her college playing days. She has come a long way since entering the W. Mabrey had two things going for her in college. Tough nosed and a good shooter. That is what got her on the court.

Yeah doesn’t have the handles Mabrey has. I have always liked Marina’s game. She is just tough. Only
Difference in the W is she has the green light to do what Arike did in college.

Tess is a shooters shooter but her handles are nowhere Mabrey. She had good ball control and has been a serviceable Pg at both levels now. And not by choice which is always hard.

Mabrey also had the confidence of a queen from game of thrones , big difference . Mabrey also developed her game to play PG . There's no comparison other than being dead eye 3 point shooters between her and tess . Being honest , overall maybe if you used Michaela Mabrey or Dara as a better comparison to Tess and her maximized potential it would make more sense. No knock against our dead eye specialist , but Mabrey is a Starting PG in the WNBA. Tess and the WNBA have a lot of work and possible expansion before that becomes her reality . I live in the real world of professional sports and our team has a lot of future WNBA players unlike the ratio we've had since the Francis days. If all players were to be drafted right now before the season even started i would bet a lot of money on this being the following results.
