Been checking out SEC teams basketball schedules. Tennessee has by far the toughest schedule evidently they ran out of cupcakes before Tennessee could get any. SC has the second best schedule and after that almost every team loaded up with little sisters of the poor. I suspect we get out first loss before any of them do as most aren't playing more than one or two top 100 ranked teams and some not any this season.

Just as long as they don't let them in the NCAA because they won 20 games and 14 of them were against weaker teams I don't really care. I thought the NCAA gave to many teams to high a seed last season just because they won over 20 games just ignoring in some instances who they played.I think another step NCAA should take after doing a great job adding portal system is to schedule teams just like pros instead of allowing coaches to pick who they want to play. Scheduling schools is another way to make the game tougher. Some coaches dosen't like to play anyone then makes it harder and risky to injury for teams that don't mind playing anyone.
So you are advocating that the NCAA schedule all nonconference games for every WBB team in the nation, did I read that right?I think another step NCAA should take after doing a great job adding portal system is to schedule teams just like pros instead of allowing coaches to pick who they want to play. I dont think Puckett MUST have a breakout season she just needs to be a consistent shooter and tough rebounder 1 step above last season . Next year YES its a MUST this year the weight on her shoulders has been alleviated with the influx of talent we have now.Our Tennessee players getting attention on ESPN App.

Yes. That way some team won't run away from playing top teams. Team like to play cupcakes just to get their winning numbers high.
Maybe a more achievable solution is for the AP Poll to require teams play X number of OOC opponents of a certain RPI in order to be ranked at a certain spot, if that makes sense. I'm sure they do something like that unofficially already, but this would guarantee that coaches like Kim and Vic and Banghart put in a bit of effort on that front. There are, what, 348 teams in D1 WBB? You are saying the NCAA should be scheduling all OOC games for these 348 teams?
And while doing so they should make the OOC schedules for all 348 teams "approximately equal in difficulty"? You tell me, how is that even possible and why would anyone want the NCAA putting together their teams' schedule?
Btw, LV's would have to give up many of their marquee games in that scenario, but I am sure you already thought about that. I blame myself for willingly entering your rabbit hole btw.

Maybe ‘must’ is an incorrect word, but I think ‘will’ is correct. Sara just scored 15 points in 15 minutes, and was our second highest scorer. Yes, it was exhibition, but even with great players around her, she did not hold back from shooting, while last year she was more tentative.
Sara works hard, has size and shooting ability, and now is willing to take more shots. No doubt in my mind, and the fine players around her will help, that Sara will have a breakout Sophomore season.
GO SARA!
