Many teams do. Tennessee is no different . Take Knecht from the boys and they struggle to win games. Take Edey from purdue they wouldn’t win a lot of games. Clarke from iowa. Juju Watkins from USC. Brink from Stanford. I can go on and on.

But the boys win…struggle or not. Are they perfect, no. But the team isn’t built on one player.

Because they won last year…majority of the same players back. He didn’t automatically make them a contender…he elevates them no doubt.

This years team won last week when he and Aidoo accounted for under 10 combined. The boys were winning without Knecht is the answer. Knecht obviously elevates them…they were elected to win the SEC before anyone knew how good Knecht was going to be.

It’s hard to lose your all american (the one who ur offense runs off of) and still win a lot of games verse ranked teams.

I agree here to a large extent. My poster child for this would be Notre Dame since the loss of Citron, their best player. I have not even brought Miles into this discussion, or their other injured players.

LSU is different and probably one of the only teams who can lose one and still be fine but lose Angel Reece last year and they don’t win a national title.

What I get out of this is that looks like Rickea and Sarah are going to be playing more on the perimeter which means we should see more Tamari along with Jill inside for more minutes. Jill has to be a player or this team is not going very far. She has the talent getting her mentally ready is right now the problem. She is playing to soft when she is in there.

If they lose to Liberty, a team that lost, at home, by 12 to Radford, they should leave them in Lynchburg. But I don't see that happening at all.

have you seen RICKEA JACKSON interview today? She says her body feels good. She feels rested just needs to get more in game shape maybe not word for word but close. She thought Wynn defence would help see the floor if i heard right on the player RJ was talking about.
