I watched Pissott when she was in high school was in a league with a lot of players with minimum talent and she dominated. She could be a lot better than she is now if she didn't play like a 5'3" guard. Her refusal to get into contact and rebounding has cost her the starting job at Vandy and down to ten minutes last game. Regardless of all she was a lower half of the top 100 not number 11.I don’t go on rankings, I go on what I see on film. That’s the mistake people made with Pissot, and that’s the reason I never praised the pickup because I didn’t like what I saw.
That’s what I noticed as well, but also she looked slow, couldn’t really dribble and I didn’t like her release amongst other things.I watched Pissott when she was in high school was in a league with a lot of players with minimum talent and she dominated. Unbelievable! I've often defended KJH decisions by saying she doesn't have a career death wish. Now I'm not sure. Or maybe it's a not so lovely parting gift to a new coach next year. She's really going to go play a UConn team that will probably be healthy by then and playing one last year together? This is completely insane. Has this woman learned nothing?!!Terrible idea for us to play in that at this point. Gonna get smoked by two teams. Blah
Unless we have a portal miracle or a new coach next season is going to be long, arduous and under .500.
If they retain Kellie and she schedules similarly I won’t be watching. I’m not into watching self harm.
Agree completely. And without a good post, a solid pg to go w DW, and a very elite scorer, next year is going to be brutal, even with Boyd and Cooper. Hard to see making that kind of haul based on this season. Unless we turn it around miraculously.I think their portal outlook is 100% tied to how they finish the season. If they limp into the offseason and either miss the tournament or lose quickly in the first round, I'd think that would hurt their chances. "Elite" players will want to be part of a successful team.
If that's true, and we know it's just you doing you, better keep it quiet. Because if those are already lined up, some very serious tampering has gone on.Breaking news: I told y’all when WinnerCircle speaks to listen!
You heard it here first, Tennessee will sign 5 players from the portal.
A mix of veterans and underclassmen. Big-time talent and potential.

The only way this is even marginally not insane is if these are the only top teams they schedule non conf next year, but we know it won't be. The last two years she at least had on-paper hopes of competing with top 25 teams. Next year? Without a significant portal haul this is just lambs to the slaughter.

they recruit a lot of somebodies...its the "closer" role that is hurtingTennessee has to start recruiting somebody if they want to act like a big time program again. Kellie is always over scheduling and trying to act like we still belong. The roster does not say that nor does the play on the court. I can't understand wanting to continue to play above the ability of the teams she is putting on the floor to compete.
