The update we slid by A&M since they lost to Vandy and we lost to SC which of course was the better loss. This sets a clear path for Tennessee going forward. Win over A&M and Vanderbillt and were in the NCAA Tourney. Win over any two teams of the four and were in. Win three of four we probably go into the SEC tourney as a nine seed. Win a couple games there we could get as high as an eight and I think that is our ceiling this season for the NCAA Tourney.

This bracket doesn’t move me at all.. name one supposedly super freshman that has done anything against Tennessee?

We played two so far and shut them both down.

I don't know it is a hit or miss with her sometime so we have about a 30 percent of it being a miss. She went 7 for 24 in a game and 10 for 31 in another. Usually though she is a lot closer to fifty percent. I wouldn't mind playing them if it was 31 shots making 10 as that is almost half their shots and a very low percentage.

Best case scenario tomorrow for our final SEC standing the way I see it.

We beat Vanderbilt, MSST beats Ole Miss and Auburn beats Alabama. That would mean we would almost definitely finish in the top 4 and get the double bye so long as we beat 2/3 in Vandy, A&M and LSU.

I don’t think we come very close to SC playing them at home but our showing against them the other night actually helped us I believe. Playing them tough was one of the better things we’ve done in weeks even though it was a loss.

I have mixed feelings because Ole Miss losing some games seemingly would help us in the SEC standings, though they just finally made their way into the NET top 50 -- when they were our only loss outside the top 50. "Worst loss" seemed to come up quite a bit in the top 16 seed reveal, and at least by NET, Ole Miss is it for us. Florida State has dropped to #42, MTSU has worked their way up to #37, and TAMU is #35 and Alabama #27. Our other losses are among the NET top 14.

That is fair, the reason I view it as beneficial for MSST to win is for tie breaking reasons. Better to end up in a tie with MSST because we have the head to head victory over them.

Higher the seed we can get in the SEC tourney the better. If we make the finals again it’s very hard for them to leave us out of the tournament. Even making the semi finals of the SEC really helps.

I think Ole Miss will still play their way into the Net top 50. After MSST they finish up SEC play with MIZZOU, UGA, UK and Arkansas. All games they are likely to win IMO.

Her Hoops now has us ranked #29 which is our highest ranking since we beat Troy in November.

Our lowest ranking was #46 in mid-December when we lost to MTSU and then squeaked by EKU.

I also was at the ND game and was unimpressed. She’s been outstanding in some games since then though so I do get the hype and think it’s warranted. Just not based on her play against us.

Anytime u step on the floor u have a chance to win, I’ll never concede a loss to no one, especially when I know we can beat them, but that’s just me I’m a competitor that hates losing.
