Great interview. This is looonng, but a really good interview with JP. What an impressive young woman.
WATCH: One-on-one interview with Lady Vol guard Jasmine Powell
Casey Kay sits down with Lady Vol basketball guard Jasmine Powell to talk about her love of cooking, playing with another current Lady Vol growing up, why this year is a redemption year for her, an…www.wate.com
So we can add game clock reading to your resume of “not good at”It’s almost that time!
The Lady Vols are coming off a small setback where for 38 minutes they were the BEST team in WBB with a projected top 1- 2 lottery pick leading the way.
Tomorrow the LVs travel to take on Vanderbilt in a game where I have the LVs heavily favored to earn another SEC road win!
Tennessee has the best two players in this game in RJ and past SEC Player of the Week Jewel Spear. After Sara Puckett outplayed SC F Kitts in near dominant fashion, the LVs are nearing a third star in the makings. It wasn’t just the 15 points that outshine her opponent head to head, it was the way if called upon more Sara could’ve put together a 20 point game with ease.
I believe this LVs team is poised to become one of the most formidable teams late in the WBB season.
The LVs are a team that I predict ends the season on a four game winning streak.
He's just trolling. I don't think it will happen, but it would be great if his postings were ignored.Might want to change avatars agains, Winner,,,

Lets goooo! Lets GBO!
Lady Vols basketball was at a peak for 38 minutes in PRIMETIME with the LVs showing they are a contender when they play elite level defense.. this was part of the message giving by the best player in the SEC RJ.. and its the truth they were the best team in WBB for those 38 minutes!
It’s time to extend that effort and aggressive play for a full 40 minutes and close this season as one of the best teams in WBB. I have the LVs ending the season on a four game winning streak. The time is now! The time is today! Not for the NVs.

Overlooked? If you remember right, the lady vols beat South Carolina the last time they were in Knoxville with Boston playing in that game. South Carolina looks to have peaked in the middle of the season and their last couple games have not looked as sharp as they have earlier in the season. Not a great thing to have happen considering basketball is a tournament sport, but I've seen this happen with very talented SC teams over the last ten years. We’re not beating them in Columbia. They overlooked us the first game. Dawn won’t let them do that again.
The last time SC was in Knoxville prior to this year was…..last season, a 73-60 SC victory. For the record, five FF’s in the past 9 seasons and two NC’s isn’t too bad. The playing field has leveled tremendously over those years you mention, which is good for the sport but also means that the days of one or two teams dominating annually are a thing of the past, which is the best thing that has happened to WBB and part of the reason for its explosion in popularity.Overlooked? Indeed. Not many, but a few. The undefeated 98 Meek team had Alabama, who was really good and who always played them fairly close when no one else could get within shouting distance.I haven’t reviewed the championship seasons for UT, but I’d bet they had some close games or losses late in those seasons as well. So I’m looking for your point In singling out SC here.
Lost decorum at a sporting event. Imagine that.Indeed. Not many, but a few. The undefeated 98 Meek team had Alabama, who was really good and who always played them fairly close when no one else could get within shouting distance.
Seeing the Vandy gym yesterday reminded me of the most exciting game I've ever seen. The 98s almost lost it all there in the regional final against Sylvia Hatchell's No Carolina squad. The late rally to come back and win that was electric and I'll never forget the govenor of TN jumping up and down on his chair during that.
