Mark has us as an 8 I really like his take on the bracket. Honestly I like how we matchup with UNC and Stanford. But hard games for sure. Tbh being a 10 seed may be better than a 8/9 seed it’s like being a 7
Some players get it done on the biggest stage and that’s the NCAA tournament, I don’t put much on the regular season as long as they make it. That’s the reason u don’t crown a champion in the regular season, u just never know if they will show up on the biggest stage. Kiki Iriafwn and Juju Watkins are the kind of players that will rise to the occasio, same as us with Rickea.Stanford does seem to have a “falling alseep” problem tho like USC this year Ole Miss last year… They are a really good team tho
Heck even give them the title of “Mid Major Nation Champions”One thought I’ve always had was what if the NCAA tournament truly was the best 64 teams in wbb and not 32 conference winners and the next best 32
We have the NIT I think it should be made a consolation for those 30+ conferences that are literally gawd awful
Like look at the NEC, Southland, MEAC, Big South, SWAC, PatriotHeck even give them the title of “Mid Major Nation Champions”
Please let this be true!! I can think of a few players that would like to see those girls again!!Women's Basketball Bracketology

Tennessee projected as a seven seed in the Sports Madness bracket against our old friend Middle Tennessee.
I am moving over to the let’s schedule some more early cupcakes group. Team gains confidence and it seems there is little ranking downside playing them! What really is hurting us the most is playing a strong non conference schedule and not winning. We were 7 and 8 in non conference. Duke played a bunch of directional schools and went 8 and 2 losing to the only two good teams they played. This is also the situation with Miss St and Ole Miss playing a bunch of easy teams winning by 30 or more and it makes them rise in the NET. If Coach Kellie would drop to that schedule and play two three more easy teams instead of Ohio State, Indiana, etc. then we'd probably be way up the ranking. I think we’re at least a 8 to 9 seed now and will surely be if we can beat LSU and A&M.
I don’t think changing the schedule is what needed, it will just mask the flaws if we don’t have a good roster. We need to build a championship roster and the schedule won’t matter that much if we have the best players.I am moving over to the let’s schedule some more early cupcakes group. Does anyone know how quickly Kellie can lighten up our schedule? As soon as next year?
I prefer playing a harder schedule because I’d like to know what we have. My expectations were tempered fast. In contrast, I’ve heard a lot of Vandy fans who are positively shocked they are where they are in the conference after their start to the season. We don’t have to schedule them all in succession the way we did this year, I would assume.I don’t think changing the schedule is what needed, it will just mask the flaws if we don’t have a good roster. I’m the same way, that’s why I felt so bad after that FSU loss because that told me everything I needed to know, even though I’m always hopeful because of a player like Rickea Jackson. Tougher schedule is the way to go, so we know where we are at.I prefer playing a harder schedule because I’d like to know what we have. My expectations were tempered fast. I see your point for sure. I think if we keep bringing in portal players though we need games that we can win while the team is learning to mesh.I don’t think changing the schedule is what needed, it will just mask the flaws if we don’t have a good roster. How many times has LSU been on TV before the SEC games, at least the ones that they scheduled? Everybody knows them just because they won the NC last year and of course, Angel. You will not get on any national telecasts by playing those bad teams, and national exposure is what everybody craves to highlight the program. Don't run away from the good compitition because beating those good teams just builds the programs reputation, and Tennessee is stuck being who they are because of the past. Embrace that reputation and continue the tough schedule, because it will turn around and you will be moving up the charts very soon. Don't give up now.I am moving over to the let’s schedule some more early cupcakes group. Team gains confidence and it seems there is little ranking downside playing them!

Absolutely. I have been hoping for a #7 seed any way as it sets us up as a favorite for the first game and the second would be against a #2 seed rather than a #1 seed. I do think it is possible if we pull one major upset the rest of the season or SEC tourney, beat Texas A&M, and any make it to the SEC tourney semis. If the two teams we play are revenge games against MTSU and Indiana as suggested in this bracket, that is a bonus! Please let this be true!!
