Spear actually should come back, not saying she is a Superstar but what other options besides WNBA. Plus The Deacon is recruiting her younger brother and he loves Tennessee.

Well, your 'random thought' is not happening. A better bet is Teoni transferring to Tennessee to join her sister for a year. She's not playing a lot at UNC.

Tamari needs another year of conditioning before entering the draft. Next year's draft has fewer post players as well.

BTW, Kellie and her staff will be back next year.

Confirmation then that White is ok just letting WBB be a middling sport at Tennessee. Almost every other sport is nationally competitive and then there is women’s basketball just sort of floundering around under the Harper’s.

It’s embarrassing.

All this said, before another separation game with SC, potential early SECT exit (head in the sand fans will say they can win it) and a Round 2 game with another ranked team to get loss number #37 or best case #13.

I would at least needed to see what that 2025 recruiting class looked like, but I guess that is to far away to be a part of the decision. I hope another season with Kellie will be a productive one just needs a better roster. She has to find a way to get the additional players we need to go with the returnees.

We have to have another 5 player who can go and really WANTS to play the 5 and we need a PG (a story as old as time for this program.)

Post player, Point guard elite, backup two that can shoot the three. Really need some bigs that can play. You see all the top teams have this. Point guard is a given and we've never had what we need there. Been average or below. I judged our present roster as average before the season started. It has been a little below that level.

Probably just listened to the donors and they were for staying the course. AD's usually do what the people with the money want them to do. No reason to do otherwise unless the sport loses to much of the fanbase that go to games.

That’s a terrible decision. lol. Wbb donors mean almost nothing, we lose money so why stay the course there. White seems like a winner, strange that he would be ok just rolling with mediocrity.

Yeah and I don’t think Wells is that answer, especially coming off an ACL. Talented no doubt but even in the games she did play she looked shaky and under confident at this level.

As with most of Kellie new additions she seemed to be thinking WAY too much instead of just playing basketball like she did at Belmont. This staff is obsessed with players doing it “their way” and “their way” sucks.

Or AD White, who is a very successful AD, believes Kellie is the correct coach to bring the Lady Vols back to the top.

No I'll have an opinion after we see what happens in the portal. We need rebounding and enough firepower on offense to replace Rickea Jackson and then some.
