Question did Posters on here fight this much to keep Holly? Seems like I remember regular posters throwing Holly under a bus wanting rid of her.

If we have a stacked team will u be worried about the schedule or just if we don’t get any good players through the portal?

UConn has to schedule tough out of conference games because their conference is so weak. LSU schedules weak teams for whatever reasons, but it certainly helps their win numbers. SC has a good enough team to schedule anyone, and when we get to that point, we can do that, too. We are not there yet, and it takes time to get to that point, but I believe Kellie will get us there.

they fought much harder to get rid of her,,,and rightly so

Kellie, just as Holly, just needs the right influence to direct her and not be scared to stand her down
She has the needed high-visibility level (she was known before she got here).
What she seemingly does not have is that person she HAS to listen to who will tell her what she doesn't want to hear...Get that person in the mix and watch what happens

ZZ is a setup/combo PG,,,his mirror is Jazzy Powell/possibly Jewel Spear

Not taking away ZZ's importance,,,you can't compare the two as apple-to-apple

There were some (Darth) who hated the hiring from the beginning. Then there were those of us who stepped off midway through her tenure (my moment was the game when they lost to LSU after intentionally fouling a LSU player when Tennessee was up 1 point in the waning seconds of a game). But most people were still supporting her.

You need a roster where you can just reload. Pat always had that someone goes down another player almost as good and sometimes better stepped in.

They tried and were unable to add some extra games to the pre-conference schedule this season.

Also, Rickea Jackson's absence lead to losses against the pre-season ranked teams. I wonder where the men's team's record would be if Dalton Knecht had missed their pre-conference games as well?

They would have been fine. They won before Dalton arrived and will win after he leaves. Men’s team don’t play the victim card.

They made it just as far as we did last year? Without dalton the boys team would struggle this year. He literally takes over games much like Rickea. Dalton is the men’s team pulse. I don’t disagree that they will be fine without him next year but it will be a step down offensively unless we get a guy like him in the portal.

oh yea. What was the final ranking, not all things are equal no matter how much fans here want to draw parallels. Still looking at the SEC Title and SECT Championship that Barnes has without Dalton. He’s special for sure and opened up more options for Tennessee after he leaves. To be fair, RJ wasn’t getting Dalton looks in the end of the LSU game.

I understand Tennessee BHC needs a plan to get more money. In the end even if they could get a lot more people average fans to giving still going to need a few high money boosters to put it where it needs to be. The collective now has a lot more freedom with high school athletes than it had before and hopefully finally will get more help from all the fan base as well as the boosters. It is a little surprising that we have such a low number of sponsors for BHC.

At their new team couldn't have schedule better teams than Kellie first five years here. At their new team

You don’t have another Rikea Jackson hanging around. Pat could not have just reloaded a Tamika or Candace.
The loss of a player of Rikea’s stature would be a blow to any team in the country.

Anyone except South Carolina. They could lose a player like her and still have plenty to win most of their games and make a huge run for the National title. UConn has done well also with six injured players one being Fudd. A team like Iowa would be totally affected by losing Clark.

Most posters at least have a clue about this game called basketball! Basic skills and principles are well know no matter even when the women used to play 6 on 6 with offense sides and defensive sides. The Holly years had little to no correlation to basic basketball principles! And everyone knew that the games were going to be almost impossible to watch ….. At least Since Kellie has been here , you can recognize that they are playing basketball again ! There are still questionable things going on that some people take exception too. But at least I can watch again and not scream at my television! JMO

No problem but we saw SC play two game without Cardoso and they still won by 25 in both games.
