Depending on how September goes this could be a real buzz saw for the Vols. I think you take UT ATS as a road dog but no way is this game just a matter of lining up and posting a W because the helmets have an orange T. We will be coming off of a bye before a home game against Bama. This is one of those games we all fear that could be close and special teams kill us...

Not a good back to back stretch at all. I think we certainly have enough to win but I'm fearing a close game that ends with blunders and missed opportunities.

Good post... I very much agree.

Mullen's going to have to step up his coaching at the end of games this year. He's repeatedly put us in position to break through against top teams, yet he's ABSOLUTELY cost us several of these games with his decisionmaking late in the 4th. I guess in this regard, he and Dooley are quite similar...

And to be fair, we were out-athleted pretty decisively in most of these...

SC '11 defensive alignment failure(didn't have Banks on Jeffery) for one play in 4th quarter after Banks shut him down all game, Alshon with TD catch. (L 12-14)
LSU '11 multiple missed fg's with the chance to tie or take lead, blown coverage in the 4th for a TD pass. (L 19-6)

Ive been to a Bammer/the barn game at BDS and it may have a better atmosphere than Neyland when UT is playing UAB or Buffalo. But an SEC game at Neyland blows BDS away.

I don't know. I got to go to Bama/LSU I last year. Place was focking electric. Probably the best Game Day experience I have ever had. I am including USCe/Bama 2010 in that.

I know we were not that good under Croom and you can think what you want but the fact is Mullen has made us a national power house and this is the year that verifies that. Tennessee is not ready for us, this I can promise you my friend. I don't care what y'all think but I know deep down y'all are scared of us.
