Considering we have never reached the top I don’t know. There is not many out there that you could say could take the program farther. I’m really comes down to players. We did waste an all time talent. Can Karen recruit enough to get us over the hump and now that means the portal?

Personally my belief is no she can't. The ego wont let her get out of the way. She needs someone who knows how to call a pitch selection. She is not the answer. If she can do that, then yes. But you always have to have the killer instinct and be aggressive

I actually felt like the pitch calling this year was better than last, but maybe that was just me. Or maybe just more to work with. Is Pickens problem her mechanics sometimes? Seems like the pitch that is always down and in is more mechanics than mental. Not sure though. Hopefully a pitcher will realize we had a great season and we’re just one arm away from being elite again next year.

Top to bottom we saw this week how far we are. Which player on our team starts for OU not named Kiki? For us to compete that answer needs to be 3-4. It hurt not having Pannell more than we realize because it kept a strong bat out of the order.

I agree, I think Karen sucks at calling pitches. She's super freaking predictable.
I wouldn't mind seeing what Meghan can do.
I agree on Pickens roo she needs something she can throw to the outer half of the plate.

I enjoyed the heck out of this season and couldn't be prouder of our Lady Vols. I hate they are leaving the stadium heartbroken tonight, but they definitely should walk out of there with their heads held high.

Much love to the team and staff, and sincere thanks for all the exciting moments they brought this crazy sports nut. 🧡💙

WOWZER what a season. Just a handful of teams have ever won both regular season and conference tournament in the SEC. Let me rephrase that you can count them on one hand how many teams have done that. Season to Remember

Karen pushed the right buttons this year agree or disagree. There’s no other team that would have done what this team as accomplished with the lack of hitting from 4-9, our base running, slow feet speed on defense and our only ace on a limited appearances. The decision to set your ace All-American is still the biggest question?

Moving forward we are still setting the best out of all SEC teams. Arkansas will be a scrappy team, Florida is a train wreck and relying on their over ranked 23 class, Alabama will be Montana less and no talent left, Georgia will have the big boppers but no pitching, Auburn has the pitching but zero bats, LSU and Kentucky are just somewhere in the middle with no talent. South Carolina, Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas A&M, Mississippi State are just dumpster fires.

Plug and places a few key pieces and we are repeating this all over again. Learning experience for this young team.

Our hitting was anemic....A good high-school team could have beat us tonight. One run beats no team. Maybe a bit of small ball to get some baserunners,some kind if strategy would have helped. Great season,hate to see it end.
Karen needs to recruit some gorilla girls like Oklahoma has.

Seeing Kiki cry talking about Ashley, Ashley crying talking about her dad, & Karen crying about what this team and season has meant to her is so sad.

Side note: I think as much heat as Karen should take I think her press conference really put into perspective how much pressure she had. She talked about how hard it was not having Ralph by her side and it really hit home for me
