How does Oklahoma keep making good coaches do stupid things?

The pressure gets in their head. Like Monica said don’t reinvent the wheel just keep doing what got you there and if they beat you then so be it

I'm pulling for the giant meteor to hit Earth before we have to crown either of these teams the champ this year. At least last year I could pull for TX. But don't have an option this year. I have a beef with Lonni that is personal. But I still despise the way the OK fans act in OKC. So the only winner here would be...giant meteor.

I'm not a fan of either team, but I was jst sitting here thinking that I doubt Oklahoma has anyone pulling for them outside of native Oklahomans and alumni.

Karen has certainly taken quite a bit of criticism for how she handled the Oklahoma game. Hopefully she learned her lesson and never does something like that again. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. It was a terrible decision that most likely cost the team. Winning one game vs having to win three. It’s HUGE. That decision put the team in a deep hole they weren’t able to dig themselves out of. When you are playing in the biggest game of your season on the biggest stage for softball against the games #1 team you pitch your ace. It’s that simple.

and pissed off every TN fan who paid $300 a night for hotels to watch that performance. Yes i'm still mad. lol

Game 1 of any series is THE game. Leonard keeps Oklahoma at bay and Sandercock is still in the dugout. Now there isn’t any reason to show Sandercock’s pitches. Amazing how Karen’s strategy of not using your ace is catching on so quickly. Mind boggling

OU celebrates every hit like it's a grandslam. If this is how folks felt about TN baseball last year, then I can understand why no one outside of TN liked us during our run of dominance.

There was no reason to pull Leonard after the hbp. She hadn’t been thru the lineup twice yet. If I’m pulling her it’s for Sandercock only

Her ace couldn't give her more than a relief appearance. So she tried to piece it together, just as FSU did successfully against Tennessee three days later. Just as FSU tried to do again against OU tonight.

They keep "evolving" the rules about pitching. Remember when Barnhill was hoping halfway to the plate? It was ridiculous then and is ridiculous now. Either enforce the rules or throw the book out the window and make it a prison yard free for all.

I remember the game when MA set the strikeout record and had a few called for IP. It happens and has happened forever it seems.

Excessive celebration on a softball field isn’t affecting the price of gas, price of groceries or anything else. With all the complaining about it, I’m going to start doing it as well with a bottle of whiskey. Some of y’all could probably use a few shots yourselves.
