Georgia lost a pitcher today and I have been told LSU pitcher Alea Johnson but not seeing that anywhere

Aside from a couple outliers looks like a lot of kid majors transferring to the SEC

Speaking of tranfers, Who or what led to the xfer Puni and last years shortstop from Arizona, duh I must be a dummy,
Arizona and Oklahoma. Pretty good pipeline if can maintain it.
Payton came mainly because of Ashley, I think?

I’m assuming Puni came in bc she was behind Johns at 3rd and Davis I think she wanted to play short and Arizona had Harper. I could be wrong though

LSU is getting one of the top if not THE top hs senior pitchers out of Florida's Pace High school. She's a lefty. Her father was a very good athlete out of Nashville Hunters Lane back in the day. I got weekly clippings from her performances the last 2 years from her family who remain friends of mine. With the Tennessee connections she had I marveled at why UT never seemed to seriously go after her.

Washington was good this year and always seemed to have the talent as of late…but after this year I’m not sure why Kern would chose UW if she’s hunting a title. They are losing almost all of their starters from last season.

She followed FSU, Washington and Stanford softball programs on her socials after announcing she was in the portal. She’s from San Jose so Stanford would make the most sense if she’s wanting to be closer to home but no idea if she could even get accepted. Apparently she sent a tweet with a few pics of herself in a UW uniform, with staff and players and then deleted it. Plus, she’s playing on the national team which is coached by Heather Tarr.

Bri Ellis to Arkansas. She hit 20 homers (out of 45 hits) two seasons ago at Auburn and hit 14 this season.

Another example why college coaches shouldn’t be allowed to coach the national teams. It’s an unfair recruiting advantage. If you want to be on the national team or get playing time on it you transfer to the coaches school. That’s why College coaches want to coach the team they know it’s a bonus for recruiting. No different when Walton coached it and got Echos and Wallace as transfers.

Tennessee did. She just saw LSU as a better place for her. And it was over before it started in her recruiting.

Another in-state prospect receiving SEC interest is 2026 RHP Bailee Shelton of TN 3A champion McNairy Central. Travel team TN Mojo 2025 Gregory. Trains at Sarah Akamine Prodigy Softball Academy.
Mojo was 4-1 at Tbolts Five Star Showcase over the weekend. Defeated Beverly Bandits Norwood, Texas Blaze, Ga Impact Carnes/Turner, & Bham Thunderbolts Premier 2026 Chaney. Fell short in early Sunday rain shortened game to Florida Bombers, 4-3.

I think her market is limited because she’s been average at Pitching and Hitting but she’s looking for a home to be able to pitch and play 1B when she’s not pitching.
