Fine looking possible lineup but i am sure some freshmen will make these penciled in have to hit!!! Cant or dont hit sitting is the place to work harder on and defiencies one may have.

just remember I called Bahl leaving 2 days before it was announced and I doubt Patty would leave me astray on this one also.

Nugent would be a huge pickup as she in limited playing time has averaged a homerun every 10 at bats. That would relate to about 17 homer season which would be amazing from the catcher position and she has a fielding average of 1.000. Certainly a proven player having played top competition almost every game. I think if we can find a couple pitchers or even one that is elite we should be the SEC favorite next season and certainly in the top three. Bella Faw was rated the number five player in the country if she proves to be that good how will she not be in the lineup. I think Taylor, Brockenbrough, Donihoo, G, and maybe even West are in for some stiff competition for playing time. What we need now is pitching hopefully some of the top pitchers in the portal will consider us.

I don’t want to discredit the kid as she has god given size/power but many coaches out West feel she peaked at the right time of recruiting. She got injured in HS and didn’t come back the same.

I really like G and she did a tremendous job behind the plate with it being her first year. That being said, I think I would rather see Taylor or Brock in the outfield over G if she’s not catching this year.

Yes the minute she signs she is our catcher. I'm not certain Mealer will win a starting spot that remains to be seen. She made 14 errors playing at SS and even Donihoo only made 9. One of the Leach twins was a .472 hitter in high school. If she could hit .350 at Tennessee that would secure a spot in the outfield over Taylor or G. I like both pickups but pitching is going to be the determining factor as to how good next years team will be, but I see the lineup being better than this season no weak positions 1 thru 9.

It seems that there are a whole lot of pitchers have already transferred even within the SEC. I guess that they may not have stroked Karens imagination! As it looks like the pigs and crimson turds are doing ok with new pitchers. I have to assume Karen has someone in mind.

She was hitting over .300 and had 30+ RBI until the physical toll of catching every day got to her.
