First step new hitting coach launch angle not good long term in softball. Get some offense in here. Pickens I doubt will portal but could anyone blame her? I would have started her today cause she seem to have some fire in her. Hindsight is 20/20.

Launch angle should never be a thing in softball. Too much vertical separation for that to be successful.

I hope they have to sit there and watch Bammer celebrate on their field.
I hope somebody plays that on a loop every day through next season.
I don’t know who the Malveaux people are, but if they’re bad for the program, I hope they’re gone.
No excuse for the LVs to not be going back to OKC.
Hopefully, KP will return and there will be some new hungry players.

I wouldn't blame her at all for going to a program that can actually recruit and coach hitters.

We need speed, that was a major hole in our offense. You don't have speed in your lineup or even on the bench you become one dimensional....hence this weekend. Yes we needed clutch hitters, but you can't have success if you don't create chaos. I am not saying pure slap hitters, but someone like a Riley Boone/Jayda Coleman that can do all 3 facets and create chaos

This year was it for a while. Next year's class is great, but they will need to mature, not to mention some will transfer like always.

Unless we can somehow strike gold in the portal, don't expect next year's team to challenge for the SEC or for the WCWS.

Tennessee as a program just doesn't have the coaching to be elite every season.

Very disappointing! I feel for the seniors, they contributed greatly to our success recently. Unfortunately their last performance wasn’t their best: Payton hbp’s and the slam, our 4 senior batters 0-11, and sadly Kiki’s ground out with the bases loaded. I was hoping soooo much for a walkoff slam. Not to be. Need a hitter and 2nd pitcher from the portal. Thank you to the seniors for all you did for LV softball.

Yep. Feel like it’s been seen around the country with the last bunch of these seniors/fifth years from Covid. New blood could be a good thing.
