I thought the hitters looked unprepared and their approach at the plate made no sense. Hits were there to be had but there were too many takes and called strikes. A pitcher’s best friend is a hitter who gets behind in the count.

Final Four banner is just a participation trophy to me. It's like a boxer talking crap to a dude that's beat his butt everytime and saying "You're nothing, I made it to the 12 round with whoever the champion is at that time".

The AD doesn’t dictate assistant hires. Assistants, in general, report to the HC and the HC controls who gets hired or fired on staff. It’s on Karen to make the changes.

(The AD can veto an assistant hire or force a firing, of course, but that usually never happens unless there are known character issues. But generally speaking, they sign off on whatever the HC wants.)

I agree with you about making it to the final four, it's a building block but, in my opinion, unless you make it to the championship game, it really doesn't mean anything to me.

You're delusional. If anything is a participation banner, it's crowing that you beat a team in the regular season when they went further than you in postseason.
