Softball America reporting that 2026 Avary Stockwell is a LV softball commit.

No reason to take both. Tennessee getting Stockwell makes sense of why Cathey ended up at Missouri this early. Tennessee must of felt they were getting Avary even though she was taking other visits.

Where do you see Stockwell fitting in to the lineup with Elsa coming in next year?

I saw Avary at today's game against Georgia Tech. Last season, she and her father often sat in our section at some of the games. Very glad she's going to be a Lady Vol.

Elsa is day 1 catcher. She’s not smooth in the field like she is behind the plate. Personally the best I’ve seen at that age. Stockwell 3B/1B.

Not likely. Eat up innings, mid-week. Too much ahead of them in Pickens and Sage to put pressure on them. Both need to spend extra time with Dan lifting and the get extra helpings of chicken/steak.

Good day to not play your starting Jr/Sr. to see what you have with your Fr./Soph and deep backups. Playing inferior JUCO kids in the rain, those kids should handle WS easily. If they had Coffman pitching this year it’s a different story.

2-0 after 5, Taylor P. RBI single and 2 hits, Peyton looked good allowing only 1 hit. Sage going in top of 6, no other changes.

Laura rbi double, lots of changes bottom of 6th, Amanda slap hit, Aubrey single, Zoie 2-run double, Allanah rbi single, Katie single, 7-0, only Laura and Boo at 3B still in game top of 7

That’s all folks! 15-0 Peyton 5ip, Sage 3ip, Erin 2ip, only gave up 1 hit all day and totally overmatched them as to be expected. Once they went to their other pitchers it was batting practice. Aubrey 4 hits, Amanda 3 hits, and Zoie 3 hits and 3 rbi. We have us a backup catcher this year and it’s Emma! Made 3 or 4 nice plays on squibbers and has a nice arm. Very quick and athletic for a 6 footer.

Keep seeing a lot of comments about Sage. Don't know about the backgrounds of these pitchers so just asking. Is Sage considered an elite pitcher up there with Pickens and will be our #2?

She’s a solid #2. Not elite but a nice backup after losing Payton.

No, Payton was an All-American and a #1B. I’d love to be wrong in the end, but she’s a solid #2.

LSU has never had an issue with getting top players. One of the most relatable coaches in the game.

Does anybody know around how much season tickets are for softball? I’m sure it depends on where you sit, but around what would it cost you for 2 seats? I am from out of state but can make a lot of weekend series trying to figure out if it’s cheaper doing season tickets and seeing if I can sell games I can’t make it to or just buy tickets as I go to games. Since On3 recently acquired Softball America, really like what they are doing in recruiting coverage. Rating softball prospects as they do football. Currently instate 2026 Stockwell a five star, Shelton, Bailey, & Cathey four stars.

What does our 2026 and 2025 class look like as far as rankings on Softball American/On3?
