Tennessee Titans sue Lane Kiffin

You have zero concept of "principles" it seems. It's all cause and result with you. The lawsuit is regarding the actions taken by Kiffin and Southern Cal and doesn't in any way reflect the caliber of coach he is.

Of course you'll defend your assessment of Lane Kiffin to the bitter end, which will likely be sooner than you expect. I'll enjoy watching you look foolish doing so.

You guys belong together, hat. Truly.

kiffen is a snake and now he messed witht the wrong man. coach fisher is pure class and he wont put up with kiffens games.

lame kitten and all his red neck suporters will be crying the blues when hes paying millions back to the titans!!!

You talking about someone looking foolish is comparable to Kirstie Alley calling someone fat. You imbeciles are babbling on about precedent as if the Cowboys are sitting around rooting for the Titans because they fear Texas Tech is about to raid their staff. Real NFL organizations don't have to worry about guys they really want to keep breaking their contracts to go to college. Second rate organizations in cities that should be used for the testing of nuclear weapons. on the other hand, do.

Real NFL organizations can keep their RB coaches to give pointers to that guy Felix Jones that they (being so "real") drafted ahead of Chris Johnson. What geniuses. I'm sure the Titans are jealous of the Notre Dame of the NFL.

The Cowboys were in the playoffs last year. Remind me what the Oilers did in the postseason last year. If the Cowboys are the Notre Dame of the NFL, does that make the Oilers the Kansas State or South Florida of the pro game?

I'd laugh if Pola sucks and gets fired in two years.
Since we know how little input an offensive coordinator has relative to that of the head coach on a Lane Kiffin run staff, all Pola has to do is recruit and coach backs. He'd have to be especially awful to get fired.

Why would he be hiding behind anything? He's not being sued, is he?

No, it was a response to the idea that Pola should have the right to quit and not be involved in any way, shape, or form in a lawsuit over it, directly or indirectly.

Aw that's cute. One playoff win in the last decade. Maybe their overrated asses can make a conference championship game before they try to fit a skyscraper inside their stadium.

The Titans are more like UGA. Good recruiting/drafting, okay coach that wins games but not championships, etc.

An Oilers fan talking trash to a franchise with a case full of Lombardi Trophies. Kind of like France attempting to taunt Germany.

Thanks for proving my Notre Dame point..."but we were relevant 20 years ago! We should be preseason #1 forever!!!"

As opposed to a franchise that has been meaningless since the NFL/AFL merger?

You're right, maybe I should just go with the team winning Super Bowls while I'm in college. Mark of a true fan right there.

I highly doubt he fails. He better be worth the nonsense this has turned into though.

I'm not a Titans fan. It's funny how worked up people get if you're not.

I'm not a Cowboy fan. I simply acknowledge the difference between a first class franchise and a used car lot like the Oilers.

And heaven forbid if you continue liking the NFL team you liked before the Oilers packed their bags.

That might be the only team I hate more than the Cowboys. If the Cowboys are Notre Dame, the Steelers are Alabama.
Success appears to really irritate you. Good thing you're a Titans fan. They won't cause you much bother.

I follow the Titans as much because they saturate my market and are the home team. I used to respect Fisher but really started to sour on him as well as the organization as a whole a couple of years ago. I am convinced the ones who pull the strings are interested in making sure this team is mediocre with a flash in the pan shot at being a contender every 10 years or so. There is no real commitment to winning as I see it.

Unless you have been an Oilers fan all your life being a Titan fan is just as ridiculous as being loyal to your favorite childhood team or a team you chose to support at any other time in your life. Calling people out on this is ironic to me to say the least.

Restitution for what? Judges could give a damn less about trying to keep the peace between the NFL and college football. Unless they can come up with a rational, provable quantification of damages, they'll get squat.

I don't know what... but we do live in a country where a stupid woman got paid for spilling coffee in her own lap.

It isn't about keeping peace. It is about protecting the integrity of contracts. Being a lawyer, I had hoped you would provide better insight about whether punitive damages could be awarded for a contract violation in Tn when no tangible damages can be proven.

I'm fairly certain that puns could theoretically be awarded, but it very rarely happens in contract cases. And if no tangible damages could be proven, there absolutely won't be punitive damages. In that case, the most the Titans would get would be nominal damages, which recognizes a technical breach of contract without the plaintiff being able to prove any real damages.

Why? Are you looking for some free advice before you file a lawsuit with as little actual merit as the one the Oilers filed yesterday?
