They don’t realize their days of running roughshod over the rest of the SEC are over, and it’s not because of Calipari. It’s because the rest of the conference is taking basketball seriously now. It isn’t going to be Kentucky and the 13 Dwarfs anymore.Hiring a basketball coach who can meet their recruiting and win expectations is almost impossible. They go through firing menopause four times a year in Lexington.
That and the fact he’s not getting 5 of the top 10 recruits each season any longer. They don’t realize their days of running roughshod over the rest of the SEC are over, and it’s not because of Calipari. Staff not pushing for Richard…So, so far sounds like we’ve reached out to a certain extent with transfers:
Jaelin Llewellyn Princeton 1/2yrs remaining PG 6’2” 175lbs 33mpg 16ppg 2.5apg 4.1rpg 45%fg 50%2ptfg 39%3ptfg 70%ft
Nijel Pack Kansas State 2/3yrs remaining CG 6’0” 180lbs 33mpg 17ppg 2.2apg 3.8rpg 46%fg 48%2ptfg 44%3ptfg 85%ft
Brandon Murray LSU 3/4yrs reaming SF 6’5” 214lbs 31mpg 10ppg 3.0rpg 43%fg 49%2ptfg 34%3ptfg 68%ft
Will Richard Belmont 3/4yrs remaining SF 6’5” 195lbs 28mpg 12ppg 6rpg 2apg 47%fg 60%2ptfg 33%3ptfg 80%ft
Probably becomes most coveted transfer name…
Almost strictly an off-ball guard. Played at Florida his first three years. Pretty good shooter.Noah Locke just hit the transfer portal from Louisville. Pretty good sharpshooter, but don’t know if he’s a combo guard or a PG. judging by his assist numbers it looks like he’s a SG. He’s 6-3 200 pounds so i don’t know if he can play Pg though.
