Didn't Springer get drafted by 76ers. Pretty sure he signed for decent $'s but I think he played quite a bit in G-League this season.

He did at spurts. I do think he migtve missed some time due to injury though.
I think it's just an intresting conversation with a guy like Phillips involved. It was said in here a few days ago we were hesitant to meet his price. I dont know the exact numbers, but assuming he can go to the G league and make 700k, one would think a college coach would have to meet or beat that to get him on campus.

The G league has to reach out to him. He can’t just say I’m going to the G league. So that’s probably playing into it. Has there been rumors of him giving the G league a look?

The complexity of how the g league works would be close to impossible to explain in a few sentences. Obviously the ignite program is highly selective and includes lottery picks from the draft itself, super elite prospects like Scoot Henderson, and g league veterans. The pathway program and various others have different processes altogether. If you’re curious, the g league site has great, but dense explanations. How a player gets there depends much on which g league track they’re pursuing. The Ignite path is rare air, and very hard to get on.

BTO was literally the first person to even bring up Yuri Collins. So let’s not act like he doesn’t have a clue. He had been on the “mystery pg” for about a week before anyone even knew about Yuri

BTO was the first one to say anything about Yuri Collins even potentially going in the portal, like a week in advance. He could be wrong about this because things changed but it doesn’t really matter.
