Would ur opinion be different if he wasnt in the league now?

So, basically, you're asking if he wasn't good enough to play at the highest level then would that change your opinion of how good he is?

Ok, I'll take a stab, yes.

Not at all what i was getting at. If u look a few posts up i called loften elite but yet he hasnt and probably wont make it to the highest level. What i was simply asking was would people call cj watson an ELITE point guard the second he left ut? My answer is no very good but not elite.

Wingate was much better than any of our current posts. In his final season, he carried us in the post season. Regardless, of other posters, I think he was substantially better than any of our current 5 players. Does that help?

Further, CJ Watson would start on this team, along with Lofton and J. Smith. Saying that he had no talent when he came to UT simply isn't true.

I have a hard time taking anyone serious in a UT basketball thread that can't spell Chris Lofton's name correctly.

I could see Steve Hamer, but not Lofton.

Please find someone on here to agree with u that chris lofton, sorry to the spell police, as a sophomore would start over scotty.

His junior year?

I would start sophomore Lofton over sophmore Hopson or junior Lofton over junior Hopson. My response to you was simply that he inherited better talent than he has now. The current players were all recruited by Pearl. I'm in no argument about who's elite, simply that he had better players then than he does now. I hope you can understand this.

I would too however again if you want to change things around then so be it. We were comparing talent when pearl got here to today. If u want to change that then fine i will do the same. Last years talent was better than his first year and all of that was bruces recruits.

Man, you really do have issues. Comparing talent when he got here to today is what I have been doing in all my posts on this subject. It is unbelievable that after all these posts you can't understand that and are still trying to make arguments.

Was the word elite not the word that was used?

Ignore is the best policy for you. You obviously can't even comprehend you own posts, much less others. Apparently you didn't or can't read or comprehend the bold part of your post in my reply.

Doesn't matter what they do. Pearl is more important than the program. We keep him regardless of the damage he causes. We'll see how good of a coach he is with absolutely no elite talent.

I guess i made this up too. The thing is why i argue with you is because u get on every thread and spread your dislike for bruce and its like beating a dead horse. Continually kicking a man while he is down proves nothing. Id be willing to bet u had no issues with bruce prior to this ncaa stuff.

Give this man a gold star. For once you are actually correct.

Well then why oh why do continually act like he is a bad coach? Thats called piling on my friend and is usually an act of cowardice.

Show me one post where I have attacked his coaching. I have made numerous comments about our lack of a half court offense, that is painfully obvious, even to those with no basketball knowledge. His strength is not coaching half court offense. However, his coaching record clearly reflects that he knows something about coaching and winning ball games. Expressing my intolerance for his lack of ethical conduct and the damage it has done to the program and university is anything but cowardice. I'm not sure if you even know the meaning of cowardice. If so, your attempting to support an unethical coach who is tearing down our program would be the best example of cowardice I know of. Please develop some level of knowledge if you propose to continue posting here. Otherwise, you just continue to make yourself look stupid.
