Texas A&M/SEC megamerge thread extravaganza

It is when your motivation for doing so is to run away from your biggest rival that owns you.

Who the hell wants to be ran by one school in a conference? You still haven't answered that question. Oklahoma is looking to get out as well as i mentioned before.

Then don't let that school run the conference. It's simple. Texas wields the power they do because other schools have allowed them to do it. That's on them.

Disagree with that statement completely.

When everybody publicly and piously talks about how "We're happy with 12" when they all know damn well that they're going to vote A&M in as soon as it comes up, how is that not just being coy? They might not "want" to expand, deep down in their heart of hearts, but I fail to see how that means anything when they're going to do it anyway. This whole situation is a classic prisoner's dilemma and the SEC is going to be the one to cave first.

My buddy just called and said A&M to the SEC will be announced tomorrow, and that the SEC will consider WVU and Mizzou.

Now, Im anxious to see Texas-Texas A&M this year. Gonna be lots of bad blood in what could be the final game for a while.

If the choice is mizzou or WV next mark me down for the wagons heading west.

Your little online petition will not stop it from happening...The fans don't make the decisions on what schools are offered membership in the SEC.

Doesn't hurt to try, but you're right. I take it you've never been to Morgantown , WV....

Yes I have...My ex was a WVU graduate...It's nothing to brag about but I've been to a lot of places that were not worth bragging about....Blacksburg is just as bad if not worse
