I don't see where I mentioned anything about an executive order.

But I ask again since I don't remember the crisis you are referring to, could Obama done anything to help during that crisis?

It was during the H1N1 pandemic. Obama didn't issue an executive order. I was pointing out that Cruz's criticism of Obama revolved around Obama playing golf during the pandemic, instead of showing his constituents 100% of his attention.

I didn't watch during those hours... and I can believe they spent more time on Cruz, but I have a hard time believing that only 3 minutes was given to Cuomo. That is a legit scandal now.

I know. And pardon my cynicism, but it’s actually been a scandal in NY since nearly the beginning of the pandemic. However as soon as something more salacious comes along from a Republican, it is placed on the back burner. Cruz is an idiot, and he should be done. But his was a case of bad optics. No one actually got hurt. Cuomo is a much different, and actually bigger story. But another friendly reminder of what news is actually fit to be covered.

Yeah, I agree. Cuomo should step down. If not, then he should be removed. It's a disgraceful situation.

Obama can allocate funds under emergency declarations. He can ACTUALLY have input through policy. Cruz has zero power. Were you outraged with Obama playing golf?

I don't want to seem incompassinate but this looking to the state capital or DC when things go downhill has to stop....right now in the garage we have an emergency supply section...food, blankets, generator, electric heater and window AC plus weather band radio and first aid stuff...Watched a documentary last night on the coldest place on Earth in Siberia where people have lived for centuries in -50 temps in winter and we can't handle a week in this country

We took a direct hit from Sally here...I was up and cutting trees off my driveway with a chainsaw as soon as the winds died down...I worked every day on generator for going on 15 days

so if I understand the argument - Cruz must be openly and repeatedly criticized because about 12 years ago he criticized Obama for playing golf during a pandemic.

glad we have our priorities right
