Texas Immigration Bills

The part you are over-looking about his post is how many times he's been hit by an illegal. At my Columbus agency about 38% of all claims are involving an illegals. At my dowtown Nashville location the number is 29% and gaining.

Those are not good odds. It is costing the insurance companies 100 of millions which in turn gets thrown back onto the good drivers rates. Why you think UMPD/UMBI is going up so fast year after year?

Illegals are simply not held accountable for their actions.

You think thats what all of them do? Please be honest.

There is a reason why we have the law.

Do you think its wrong for a Russian to wait 10 years while going through the process to get here legally?

There are plenty of reasons we have terrible immigration policies. I discussed those earlier.

Yes, I think it is wrong for a Russian or anybody else to have to wait to come to a country that so arrogantly brags about being a "beacon of liberty" to the rest of the world.

It did not save the insurance company because the cop should have cited the friend for rear-ending the illegal. It's not the illegals fault that the cop decided to give the friend a break.

Law doesn't work that way. Cop could not have cited his friend even if he was at fault if the illegal had no license.

Would your open borders include entire countries that would like to relocate?

As to the polices, whats your beef? They are typically not enforced.

Really? Come here and I'll show you the spot and your mind will change. You have no idea what you're talking about.

was your friend new to driving in AZ? You have to be on guard for a u-turn at any time in that city. If not,well...

Apparently, neither was your friend.

You realize that your holding a line now that shows your true feelings and is not logical. There a situations all over the country where the person who rear-ended is not at fault.

as I said before the cop had the option of calling ICE. I've seen it done in that very state

I didn't even realize you had posted as I started on the back pages and was being lazy. You're right though.

Illegals are costing me a fortune in year end bonuses in 3 of my agencies. Killing my profibility.

Please, convince me why it is wrong for someone to cross an invisible line, take a job that is offered to them, and work to feed their family?

question: Why is it wrong to do drugs?
answer: Its against the law.

question: Why is it wrong to steal?
answer: Its against the law.

question: why is it wrong to cross "an invisible line"
answer: it's against the Mfing law chief.

Is that enough?

Now now you're being logical. You have to appeal to the liberals inner emotions if you want them to see the light.

Try again.

Average conversation between a liberal and conservative:

Liberal: Why can't we keep them on welfare?

Conservative: Because we can't afford it and are going broke.

Liberal: But they'll starve. Do you want their family to go hungry?

Conservative: No. But they can get a job.

Liberal: But it's so tough out there right now. And minimum wage doesn't pay enough.

Conservative: Then they need to get two jobs. They need to do what it takes.

Liberal: But that's not fair. Why should they have to work two jobs while the corps making all the money?

Conservatives: Oh God. Not this again.

Liberal: But it's just not fair (stamping feet and shaking hands) It's not. It's not. It's not.

1. It is not wrong to do drugs. It is illegal. There is a difference. I would like to see recreational drugs decriminalized.

2. It is wrong to steal because you are taking life from another person. Time equals money; money is spent to purchase possessions. By taking possessions that belong to someone else, you are taking their time and, with that, a part of their life.

3. Again. Not wrong to cross an invisible line. Simply against the law.

Thanks for demonstrating your willingness to comply with every tyrannical dictator throughout history.

Negative. My argument is still not even close to approaching ad hominem status.

I am using rational and logical parallels to expose his viewpoint for what it is.

Yep, those darn greedy Mexicans with their highfalutin dreams of feeding their families through the luxury of hard labor.

Why not put that hard work to use in their own country, instead? Wouldn't it be best used there - or do you just like the indentured servitude we now have with them, here, instead?

But I must be crazy. And you seem to have things figured out, just like ol'Sab used to.

Blindly following laws simply because they are laws makes one the model subject for a dictator.

Lawlessness is the answer. Rich.

We have a system in place to both effectuate and repeal laws. So long as its on the books, it should be followed.

no but I spent 7 years in Arizona in the construction industry. I have an idea what goes on
