I was just trusting you and assumed that the baristas were white... you know... since you said in at least one post that there was a racial bias here. Unless of course in liberaldom millenial is now a race, which I wouldn't be at all surprised. So you know they were white millenials and you're the one spewing about me jumping to conclusions. LOL I'm guessing you have no idea how idiotic you look now.

I haven't seen the video. Not really all that interested. I just like watching liberals squirm. Its urban Philly so the chances that they are not POCs is pretty slim. No one has identified the race of the employees have they? Or are we all just running with the twitter video showing the White cops and the POC Supervisor?
They had a reason.

I really couldn't care less about this whole incident.
Interesting though that the liberals are screaming racism, when - if as you say - the baristas were black... it couldn't be racism because black people cannot be racist.... ESPECIALLY against other black people. amiright?
Who was the racist in this case? And how were they racist? And you know this.... how? What reason? Based on what I've read, they were just sitting down at a table minding their own business. Even other people in Starbucks were wondering what they had done when the police arrived.
Quit trying to defend racism. You're giving conservatives a bad name and providing liberals with more ammunition to use against us.

Interesting though that Starbucks seemingly encourages loitering at many of its establishments. Lots of them have numerous hipsters and millenials tapping their laptops for hours on end drinking their half-doubledecaffeinated-half-cafs and they don't throw them out.Its called Loitering bro. You can't just hang out at a business for no reason and then when confronted refuse to leave the premises..
I'm not a conservative.

This whole thing is hysterical in a way. I feel for the guys led out though.

Pro tip: When you are at a restaurant and your party hasn't arrived you usually let someone know instead of standing around like a bunch of ne'er-do-wells..
fyi

edit-
Also..if you feel that the cops are out to get you I would assume one might try to avoid doing things that enable the cops to come and get you...common sense..isn't really common in Flipadelphia apparently..

They were waiting on a real estate agent to arrive, so yes, there was a reason for them being there.
How do you know they didn't tell the employees why they were there? Even then, should they really have to? Oh, I get it, they're black, so they're automatically trying to stir up trouble.
Btw, they were not standing around, they were sitting at a table, minding their own business, not making a scene and not only were they asked to leave, but also 911 was called. If that isn't racism to you, then you are a racist.
Well, the CEO has already said how wrong their employees were. That should be sufficient enough to understand for a even a bull-headed racist.
Just to be clear. They were asked to leave simply because they were sitting at a table, and 911 was called so that makes it automatically racism.Btw, they were not standing around, they were sitting at a table, minding their own business, not making a scene and not only were they asked to leave, but also 911 was called. I have no more idea than you do stud. I wasn't there. The difference is that I am not saying it WASN'T racism. It very well could have been. You seem absolutely convinced that it was simply based on the fact that the men were black. These could have been large men and the manager might have thought they would beat him to a wet spot on the tile. I have no idea. Now what was the "emergency"? "Help us there are black people just sitting here doing nothing".
Now what was the "emergency"? "Help us there are black people just sitting here doing nothing".
So, I've read every news article I can find, as of about 5 minutes ago, about this incident.
And it doesn't pass the smell test.
So they go to meet a "real estate investment" guy at Starbucks. They go in. They don't buy anything. They "ask" to use the restroom? I've never been to a Starbucks where you have to ask for a restroom key / permission. Maybe you do there; it's Philly. Then they sit down at a table. Manager...for whatever reason...calls 911. Cops show up. Manager wants them to leave. Cops tell them to leave. They don't. Arrest ensues.
And, Presto...national news.
Racism? Maybe. Maybe not. I'm not going to change anyone's mind here, but let me pose a few questions:
- If all they were going to do is meet at Starbucks, why go inside?
- Especially if they didn't plan to buy a cup of coffee / whatever.
- And when you are asked / told to leave a business, by the manager, or the cops, you leave. That simple. When you refuse, it is you who have escalated things, not the cops.
- Funny how the guy they were waiting to meet shows up right in the middle of it. Like I said, doesn't pass the smell test. Settlement to follow. Watch and see.
The left (and the media, same thing) will blow this trumpet for all it's worth. The right will back the cops who (literally) followed the letter of the law on trespassing.
And those of us who call ourselves "Americans", and who could not care less about this overblown example of why putting cops and idiots in the same room almost never ends well, will simply shrug our shoulders and move on with our lives. I don't think I even have a "white guilt" meter, but if I do, it didn't budge on this one.
I am, however, pretty proud of the Virginia Trooper who saved the two black bear cubs after their mother was hit and killed by a car. Kinda funny, the big bear saving two cubs. Probably won't get much press; a cop showing his human side. Not good click bait.
Meanwhile, back in Philly.....
