Along the way many Hebrews/Jews began to believe that the “rules” only apply to dealing with other Hebrews/Jews and not with Gentiles. This hypocrisy can obviously create some hard feelings. For example in lending and borrowing we are not supposed to charge interest. If you see Gentiles as inferior and are therefore harsh (for lack of a better word) in your lending practices it can create some negative Stereo types. I realize this is an over simplification of things but for a people who were called to be the light of the world by the most high G-d…we have sometimes lost our way.

That doesn’t excuse the hate that comes our way by any means but it does show where we as a people can improve

1. If you are going to argue that black people are more likely to commit crime based on anything other socio-economic factors and targeted laws, YOU ARE RACIST.
