I think the hard fouls are a combination of things - not solely the result of some crusade against her.

I’m talking about the comments. They flat out cannot hide their absolute disdain for that girl lol. It oozes out in every word.

Certainly one of us doesn’t get it. Even if for some reason you were unable to click on the video clip in the post you quoted, if you were able to comprehend the image in that video, you might notice it took place at NBA All-Star Weekend. If you followed the NBA, you also might know that Sabrina has one of the most popular basketball shoes among players. So no, it was about you not knowing very much about the NBA OR WNBA. Good talk

I understood.

CC is practically a household name. Even to those of us who don't follow the game.

I can name about 3 others because they've been mentioned in this thread. Couldn't identify them except for Angel Reese.

You continue to swing and miss and swing and miss, ad infinitum.

The point, which you seem to just not understand, is CC is the most popular female basketball player on the planet, possibly of all basketball players. I have not watched an NBA game in years and during a conversation at lunch today, we realized none of us could name a single current NBA player. But we have all heard of and know who CC is.

With regards to the video link you posted, why? I could care less about either of them. But I know who CC is. And if for some reason I did chose to watch a game because of her participation, it is likely I will pickup on some of the other players and an appreciation for the game. Me and millions of others who otherwise give a rat’s ass about it.

You claim to know something about marketing, but apparently the chapters on the value of publicity were skipped.

I don’t know what the nimrod is trying to prove. That only the 50,000 people who cared about the WNBA before CC are allowed to be fans? No one who is curious about the girl is allowed to watch? Heck, he’s right about one thing: have no clue why he does not understand the marketing value of CC.

My wife, who was a four year starter at point guard in HS, knows the NBA greats like Bird, Magic, Jackson, etc, etc, only knows one current professional basketball player: Caitlin Clark.

I would say you got us on Lebron. Although it literally did not occur to anyone. And no, I cannot name a former Vol in the NBA because I have pretty much quit watching college ball since the one-and-done stuff started, so I do not “know” any of them, although I might recognize a name. Would not bet $5 I could though.
