gotta love Tiger showing his class after a bad tee shot on ten.

FWIW, even with the turn of events on the nine green, I still don't think this thing is decided yet.

I think its decided now.

3 shot lead for Tiger is going to be tough and the way he is putting makes it almost impossible.

ESPN writer has a blog going and details the shots, plus takes emails. He says he got this one from a friend of his and it truly made me laugh out loud.

This playoff is like when the Harlem Globetrotters were on Gilligan's Island playing basketball against robots. The only way the Globetrotters could win was to do exactly what the robots were not programmed to expect. Rocco should use his fairway wood on the green and putt from the tee box. Tiger's control panel will start to spark while he repeats, "Does not compute." And that is the only way that Rocco will get to keep the resort that Thurston Howell III built.

If the Drivers were still wood, the balls still were balata (only 5 out of a dozen were any good), and the fairways were not cut to the length of most public courses' greens......Tiger would be 100X better than anyone today.

Tiger will be the best ever! When he....and he will....beats Jack's records. Most people don't care about this game, but I can only think of TWO athletes (yes.....he IS an athlete) that are better, or equal , to him in history:

1. Babe Ruth
2. ALI
NOONE ELSE!!!

He is not my favorite...I like Phil and Duval (where is he???) but I love to witness history!

there is a very good argument for Tiger being the most dominant athlete ever. I'm generally the only one making it, but there is merit. Guys throw out Federer and the like as more dominant, but tennis has seen several guys dominate similarly to Federer. Golf has never had anything close to Tiger.

BPV do you think he would be a better player if he had gone with Ping, Callaway ect. because of the club manufactuer?

there's about 30 people crowded around the TV in the break room. Lots of work getting done today.
