The 112th United States Open

This idiotic. God forbid professional golfers be afforded the same endorsement opportunities as other professional athletes.

Oh, and I highly doubt he's blown through the 10 million he won two years ago for the FedEx Cup.

That's paid as an annuity.

Umm...he met her his rookie year on the tour when he was a nobody.

Do some of you people think before you type or do you just like to hear yourselves bang on the keyboard?

Banging on the keyboard is what you're doing & I hope you feel better. I'm sure she was attracted to Jim for everything but his money. You must be crazy.

I didn't say he was broke. I'm sure he's got plenty of money. Look at him then look at his wife.

walk into any department store, mall, restaurant, public gathering and you'll see tons of goobers who have definitely out punted their coverage in respects to their wife. By all accounts Furyk is a really nice guy, laid back and easy to get along with. Supposedly he was a great basketball player growing up (an all around sports star really). Over 70% of the PGAers look like goobers. Geesh, look at Ricky Fowler. If Furyk's wife was just around for money, she could have bolted at any point in their 8 years of dating before they got married and landed another star.

I agree with a lot of this but you could have come up with a better comparison than Rickie Fowler.

I couldn't have come up with a better description. He has a mop haircut that the early Beatles would have been jealous of, a pornstache that Ron Jeremy envies and a wardrobe that Richard Simmons desires.

Or maybe this guy

But the hats almost make it work, except the part where they look stupid as hell.

I saw piles of that stuff at the PGA Superstore last week. I kept looking at that stuff wondering who in God's name was buying it and deciding to stock more of it.

I haven't seen anyone on a gold course in any of that crap. Decent chance our pro shop would ask them to leave or pick up trash.

Agree... the hat is completely ridiculous. But I could see myself wearing the shirt he has on today... would look quite nice on a fall Saturday in Neyland.

To the extent that you're trying to keep turkeys from spotting you.

Orange shirts are tricky in Neyland Stadium. They seem like a good idea until you get inside and realize your shade is nowhere close . . . especially the shade Fowler is wearing.

Besides, It's not the shirt or the pants or the hat. It's the shirt AND the pants AND the hat.
