I think we could all see yesterdays loss coming. I just hope this was the wakeup call the Panthers needed and we will see more intensity from here on out.

If not, as Jake said, this team is in real trouble.

that should speak volumes.

i'm not one that thinks Fox and co. should be fired or anything, but at some point, this team has got to nut up and play like a team that wanst to win the division.

they just showed up yesterday. and the fact that, like you said, many saw it coming, really speaks poorly on the entire team and coaching staff.

the sad part, this team could finish 10-6, and it would be considered a down ending.

8-2 with 6 to go........to finish 2-4 down the stretch........just a sour way to end what would otherwise be considered a good season.

especially if they get booted in the 1st weekend of the playoffs.

To start out so well, have the fan support, and then return back to just being the average joe's that they are, will be a big disappointment.

I recall watching one of the pregame shows and some of the guys were saying that the panthers were a good team, but they would not put stock into them, because the moment you do, they always let you down. Sometimes what those guys say is complete bogus, but that statement has a high value to it.

Wow, that was exciting. Smith's catch at the end was just unbelievable.They have certainly given us some exciting wins this season.

I think this win at Green Bay is huge for the team. I was afraid that we would were going to lose for the 2nd straight week. I love this team but they have a bad habit of slacking off during the 2nd half of the season.

We finally showed up on the road...Amen!

But, the one thing that concerns me is our pass rush. Rodgers had way too much time inside the pocket and absolutely picked apart our zone.

It was huge, I thought going in this would not be a win, but a heck of a road win!

It's amazing how our team can come back just fine with under 2 minutes to go like it is nothing! That's awesome! :rock:

I was listening to the talk show radio after the game, and basically the guys were saying that they think the defense would rather give up the short passes instead of the 40-50 yard long plays. I don't know though, giving up anything seems too much to me! :birgits_giggle:





I did not get to see most of the game since I was on my way back from the holidays, but I saw it from the 4th quarter when it was tied. I thought for sure that Smith was going to get called for something right after his big catch, I was just waiting for the flags on that push off. Did anyone else think that was a good no call? Of course its great because it allowed us to win, but had it been on the other side I would have probably been upset!

i just get the feeling this team is on borrowed time.

Mark Jones and Steve Smith bailed this team out.........big time.

the defense in the 3rd quarter was absolutely awful. the offense wasn't much better.

it's that time of year to start putting your best foot forward.......and right now, there's absolutely nothing that scares anyone that plays the Panthers. they respect the running game and respect the big play ability of Smith.......but the inconsistenccy is just killing me.

the most inconsistent 9-3 team i've ever seen.

well, i guess so.......but none of that's untrue.

in the end, all that matters is the win. i don't disagree with that.

but if i'm projecting what i think will happen based on how this team has played.......then despite the results, i just don't trust this team to take care of business.

relying on punt returns and 50 yard bombs to Steve Smith every game is a risky venture to say the least.

I know it is all true, but enjoy the win while we can!

Its clear the team is inconsistent, but as long as they are on when it matters most, that's really what it comes down to.

I just hope they are on against Tampa Bay.Your right though, we should just enjoy the wins.

ok, i tried it. i kinda like it.

i thought the crowd was great, the black out, i guess, looked cool from where i was sitting and it was generally loud the entire game.

Jake is on my nerves as is the secondary....

but the O line, and the two headed monster are a force to reckon with.......NOW THAT was a GREAT win. walking back to the car after the game the whole area was buzzing........

hope it looked as good on TV as it did in person.........Great Win Panthers.

Congrats on the win Panther fans! Steve Smith is heavily underated as a clutch receiver IMO.

What a great game. Jake didn't play that great, but a win is a win!

I think the best plays in the entire game were the huge throw that garcia got to the one or so yard line and the defense held them to a field goal. Talk about giving up a huge play and then taking 4 points from them.

I'm truely amazed at how well the offense played and how well we scored, without a score from the defense.

Overall one of the best games so far this season.

I really enjoyed that WIN !!!

I don't know what the future holds, but they sure looked like a playoff team last night.

It was great to see the defense step up like that.It sure took some wind out of Tampa

It was hard to see the black out on TV, but the crowd sounded really loud and the fans were rocking all night

The only negative was the idiot who threw the cup at Young in the post game.

If Jake can get in a groove this team is capable of doing something great.

they got one more home game. a chance to go 8-0 in B of A. now Denver can play some offense, but their defense is definitley suspect.

this is the perfect let down game as they could be looking ahead to what could be the show down of show downs in the NFC against NYG the following week.

don't look past Denver. Make the Giants game for Home field........it's already been moved to primetime Sunday night.......make it worth i. Be that team.

The Panther's were that team today.

Next week is going to be exciting.

11-3 and 8-0 at home:rock2:
