I feel like my expectations are set too high for Bobby Parnell haha. And, random, but I've always been a russ adams fan.

Stanton, Maybin... defending ROY Chris Coghlan. That outfield is rather set.

But first, Maybin needs to show he can hit in the bigs. His problem right now he can't adjust to major league pitching.

Starsburg made his debut today.

Threw 27 pitches. 15 for strikes.

Had some command issues, but that's to be expected with a first start. Fastball was consistent 96-98.

If dude stays healthy he could be pretty dang dominant.

Ranked first or second on all prospect lists, and if he is second, it's to some Heyward guy. Incredible movement, incredible stuff... incredible expectations. I'm giddy with excitement, and get to see his debut March 9th

Looks like the Mets and Marlins series scheduled for June 28-30 is moving out of the country to Puerto Rico. This is part of the Marlins expanding their fan base in the Caribbean.

I hate it when they go down to that bandbox of a ballpark.

Robvols, who is your team? Just curious.

Braves fan since 86. Red Sox in the AL since around the same time due to the Boggs and Clemens influence. Over the years I have morphed into more of a diehard fan of the sport following every team.

If they're not really going to compete for the playoffs anyway, what is the point of rushing him to the majors unless they are just trying to sell tickets?

He's a power pitcher that has never thrown much more than 100 innings in a season much less pitched an inning in the minor leagues. He's probably ready to face MLB hitters right now, but I can understand being careful with him.
