The 2010 N L East Thread

Looks like Reyes will start the season on the DL because he is not in baseball shape due to his aliments.

Looks like the decision on Mets SS Jose Reyes is close to being decided on a possible season debut against the Nationals.

Doc Halladay seemed to have no problems adjusting to the NL as he pitches baseball's first complete game of the season against the Astros.

He also got his 150th victory of his career.

robvols, do you think that the Phils will run away with the division or is it just because we started out the season with the Nats and Astros? Halladay was an awesome addition to the roster, especially with what happened to Lee out west. If Hamels can get back into form, we have at least a good three starting pitcher rotation. Offense does not appear to be a problem this year. Go Phils!!!

"Adjusting" to the NL?

Please, there was no doubt he'd make those fools look silly after being in the AL East.

Halladay makes his first start at home tonight against the Marlins! Juan Castro needs to play decent until Rollins gets off the DL....Lidge and Romero are getting healthier and should be back to CBP hopefully sooner than later.

Not wanting to wait for a few months, and displeased with how Mike Jacobs turned out and Dan Murphy not near ready from 100%, the Mets called up 1B prospect IKE DAVIS. Davis is the 4th best prospect in the organization. He had an outstanding Spring Training and was already starting on a high note in Triple-A.

In his debut, he got his first major league hit.

The Phillies and 1B Ryan Howard came to terms on a 5 year extension worth 125 million.
