Dang, that was a fast 2nd heat in the semifinal of the 100m fly. Phelps in 5th overall. So he'll be in lane 2 tomorrow night for the finals. Schooling of Singapore looked excellent. He beat Phelps' time by 7 tenths. This will probably be Phelps' biggest challenge this Olympics, just like in Beijing.

It's been awesome watching Phelps so far. Excited for some track and field events to start tomorrow. I'll probably watch some of the women's soccer as well before work tomorrow afternoon, they're into the elimination stages now.

US women's soccer played poorly today and lost in PK shootout. First time since the start of women's soccer in Olympics that they didn't make the gold metal game

So track and field coming up. How many people celebrating US swimmers, celebrating the Russian swimmers being called out for cheating, will be rooting for our very own Gatlin? Seriously I hope he doesn't medal.

He did his time. Just about everybody deserves a shot at redemption/forgiveness.

He was nailed twice...just like the Russian swimmer who Lilly King talked **** to. My sister was on the US National team for swimming. Randomn drug tests at midnight happen all the time. She will tell you, unless you are a moron, there is no way you accidentally screwed up.

I know she's finished these games, but can you guys imagine how good Ledecky will be in 2020. You would think she'll be much better at 23 than 19. If that's the case, we could be looking at one of the more dominant performances ever.

Just got a break at work in time to see those last 2 relays. Awesome job by both groups!

Age doesn't typically help at that level. 19 to 20 is prime 23 could be old. It wares on them

Great interview by Mike Tirico with the Muslim fencer. He was literally slobbering all over himself at her greatness.
