If he were in the Braves' system, I'd think "Damn, this Harper kid could be special for us, but I hope he straightens his act up so that he doesn't embarrass the organization on national TV or cause a rift in our clubhouse."

Nats are going to be a good team, soon. With Harper and Strasburg as the core, they should compete for a while.

When is Stras expected back?

I would say he'll ease back into it at the start of next year. Maybe even another innings limit next year.

Another one of our pitching prospects just pitched in this game.

Good deal. I despise the Braves, Mets, and since the bandwagon fans have recently surged, the Phils. Hope the Nats hold down the NL East for a long time.

I'd advise you just jump on their bandwagon, since the Cubs won't be fielding any decent teams.

I don't hateeee many teams, just because I love baseball too much. But I get annoyed by some.

Harper mic'd up.

There had to be some crazy contract process to mic up Jesus.

I also don't hate many. I don't like the Cards. Respect Pujols though.
I don't like the Yankees. Never have, never will.
Don't like either of the Sox.
White Sox because of the Chicago rivalry, and Red Sox because they are basically the Yankees with a different name.
Don't like the Braves because the majority of people around here claim to be Braves fans and can't tell you one player besides Larry Wayne Chipper Jones.

Besides that, I just love the game.

Garza trade might not look so good in a couple of years. I like him, but I have been disappointed in him.

Cubs could have moved Castro to 2nd and had Lee at SS.
