All of these pitchers throw just extraordinarily hard and so easily. Matt Harvey may be soon if he hasn't pitched.

Matt Harvey. I like him.

A few years back the Cubs drafted a Ryan Harvey with a high pick. I was excited. Hoping he would make it and I could buy a Harvey Cubs jersey without having to make one. But, he flamed out. Did get to watch him for the Smokies.

You do realize that I'm not saying Harper's career is doomed or anything...I expect him to have a very good career.

Hadn't heard much about it. I try to keep up with the minors, but I don't get to as much as I like. I do with the Smokies since they are only 25 minutes away. What kind of surgery? Tommy John?

I think so, right after being drafted. And now he's only throwing high 80s ish.

It might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but the fact that he's gone 0-4 with 2 K's and two ground balls that he rolled over to first against the best competition he's ever seen may show that he isn't as advanced as some think.

You might not believe it, but even Pujols and A-Rod have 0-4 days.

Not sure how good his defense is. I was looking at from a fantasy perspective, he's not anything special at the plate. (Beckham)
