The All Things Cycling Thread

Back in the negative temps today and supposed to get a crap ton of snow again tomorrow on top of the crap ton we got on Saturday. I'm ready for road season.

All right I need your input once again. I'm STILL looking at buying a used bike, newest prospect a Santa Cruz Superlight 29er XL 2013 model. It could potentially fit, as I'm 6'6". I have not biked in years but want to get something I will enjoy.

ps Im still kicking myself for not buying the Kona everyone said to buy!!! I fear that it might be a better bike!

Santa Cruz makes a killer bike. I think you'll be happy with it.

Riding the steep downhill skiing course would be more difficult, I think. Or even worse, climbing up the downhill course. Wonder what the grade is on that thing?

You can spin on the trainer there. Make sure you are sitting in front of a fan for the full effect.

It's supposed to top 60F multiple days this week, raising hopes that this winter may one day end.

Supposed to be 55° on Saturday here. I am going to do a charity run/bar hop. Everyone dresses in a red dress. I've been searching for one that I can squeeze into for the past 2 weeks.

Just replaced the chain I put on in September 2012.

Approximately 8000 miles on it.

That probably isn't recommended.
