The All Things Cycling Thread

A minute later, not two, but three people emerge--two riders, with one carrying a toddler in a back carrier.

Whilst riding yesterday, I think I saw these cyclists again about four miles away on a different road.

It's pretty rare to see cyclists of any variety at those particular spots. Weird to randomly see the same ones on back-to-back days. Wish I had those odds on the lotto.

Unless one of them is yours, why the excitement?

Potential that one could eventually be mine. Also, this will allow us to eventually pick up Look as a brand. Also, it's the most "prestigious" brand to be carried in our area and we should be able to attract clientele from all over as a Pinarello dealer.

I swear, I end up bloody after every bike ride somehow. Caught my pedal on a tree during a steep descent tonight, landed in the brush. Possible poison ivy... Blah.

On a good note, the Pinarellos showed up... Bike induced boner. There's something awesome about Italian handmade carbon, aluminum, and steel bikes. The quality on these is top notch.

Back on the bike yesterday. Got rained on a bit @ 60F with gusty winds. That blows. Finally supposed to be back to normal temperatures today.

It's not a ride till someone bleeds

Mtn bike race last night. Should not have raced singlespeed when I've ridden less than 5 times this year. Climbing a mountain twice was not fun. Motivation to ride more.

Wish there were more races here.

Rode around town on my mtn bike last night. Car full of girls pulled up next to me. They told me I was awesome because I was going 20mph on my bike, while talking to them. Gave them my phone number. 'Twas a good night.

That happens to me . . . like . . . never.

Me either though last time I stopped for a smoothie the owner told me how she thought I looked good in my cycling kit.

At Subway last night some chunky girl asked how far we ride, where we start from, then proceeded to tell us we looked cool in our kits and that she wants to start riding with us. It was cool.

First day not riding since last Saturday. So windy, so cold. Just ate Thai food, too, so I'll be lacing my mountain bike wheels on the toilet tonight...
