Mountain bike race on Sunday, road race next Saturday, possibly a 24h race the weekend after that, then another mountain bike race... No rest for the wicked.

Hub cones need to be tightened. Let it go too long and it'll permanently damage the hub.

Too hot = 99* w/ 85% humidity. Sweat in my eyes not even 2 miles in.

New toy coming in on Wednesday or Thursday... will eventually be set up as 650b. Main reason I bought it was to have a frame that's the correct size for me. My Rocky Mountain is too small.

Put in a great 25 yesterday. Averaged 16.5 mph. Just broke the 500 mile mark from when I started riding at the end of March.

We probably went three weeks with only about a hour of rain time, earlier this summer. And now it's been 8+ hours (and counting) in the last couple days.

14 mikes on the mtb tonight. Woulda ride more but I burped my front tire and didn't have a tube or pump. Was afraid I'd flat so I cut it short.

Obviously rain is needed.

But in the summer it should come in the form of a gentle 1-2 hour storm, with the roads drying up immediately afterward.

For some reason, nature ignored me this week.
