The Andrew Wiggins Sweepstakes

Poythress really surprised me. I think Cal liked Stein so I could see cal trying to convince him to return, but I figured he'd be pushing poythress out the door.

Poythress must have shown flashes of dominance/brilliance in practice and just had trouble translating it into games - otherwise I think you are probably right.

So the guys criticizing Cal for pushing people out the door prematurely can apologize now. I think that Wiggins or not UK is good enough to cut down the nets.

If UK doesn't make the final four, and isnt ranked in the top 5 most of the year there's a problem.

I hope you're not a math professor.

Nope. Humanities. We like to study the human (hence "Humanities"), and that's why sports tends to be more appealing to some of us folk. Anyhow, to my previous point (hyperbole aside), I don't know of many teams that might be able to compete with them next year. I'm not sure of Indiana's situation and who they'll have returning. Kansas should be crap, although Self generally has them playing well in the Big 12 at least. Duke will be good (as per usual), but will most likely lack a post presence, which is what killed Carolina in the end this past season. Since they're the team I know best, UNC is really the only team I could see beating UK, but that's only if they return their guys (adding Wiggins wouldn't hurt either). Currently, we stand to lose JMM, Hairston, and Bullock (our best players). From what I've heard though, JMM will most likely stay, Hairston is 50/50, and Bullock is probably gone (Justin Hunter with kid situation). Not to hijack the thread, but does anybody know who might be a really good team next year?

“@AdamZagoria: Nick Wiggins told me he doesn't think Kentucky would be best fit for Andrew b/c they have so many guys coming in”

“@AdamZagoria: Nick Wiggins told @SNYtv his parents probably want Florida State but they would support whatever he decides”

Kansas is probably his best move, considering their coach is light-years better than Roy Williams.

Lol. Sure. Roy owns Izzo.. I guess that means he sucks too by your logic?

You hope he doesn't go to Carolina, I would too if I were you

Roy needs to have like 4 lottery picks on his team that all stay for 3+ years before he actually wins anything, so I assure you I'm not worried. You're overrating your own team, as usual.

You are a joke. K hasn't lost with very talented teams before? Gtfo with that. Self has done the same thing too.

Show me a time K has won without multiple upperclassmen in his rotation. Stupid statement. He also took a terrible gameplan into the Louisville game, against a team that won't go down as an all time great.
