calipari there but hating on williams is fun.
top four is the same as mine would be, probs. And I like Donavan a good amount. Matta annoys me but that is probably more tOSU than his coaching ability.
Ok, we get it. You like dook, hate Roy and Carolina... It's cool
dude is 700-180 with two national titles.
If Self goes on a 193-17 stretch, though.
I realize straight up W-L doesn't determine everything, and get that there are a lot of good coaches, but this is a nice blend of recognizing other good coaches and picking nits because you don't like a coach.
You aren't being critical of someone for blatantly disliking a school or coach are you? Because the thought of that is absolutely hilarious.
Carolina sucked. Ryan Kelly tanked and became noticeably frustrated. Guess he wasnt the saving grace everyone called him to be.
Nothing will change me thinking Ryan Kelly isn't very good. What he is doing is worse than anything I've said... Why wouldn't I be happy when the team I root for's rival loses?
I have never, not given K his due
The question is: Who is the most overrated coach in the country?
1. Roy Williams (North Carolina): 23 percent
2. Rick Barnes (Texas): 17 percent
3. Scott Drew (Baylor): 11 percent
4. Steve Lavin (St. John's): 9 percent
5. Jay Wright (Villanova): 6 percent
So nobody said, with Ryan Kelly, they are the best team in the country? Talking heads went on and on saying it.The discussion was whether Ryan Kelly makes a big difference to how good Duke is. They were 21-2 with him and 9-4 without him, so I think the answer is pretty obvious.
No one ever said "Ryan Kelly makes Duke better than Louisville."
I'm not sure why this is so difficult to understand for either of you.
If Louisville wins this year then it'll be two years in a row. But yeah, your point is valid.
Kelly, just like Kadji, is a tall perimeter players, who just isn't comfortable on the block. I agree, the defensive gameplan was horrible. That being said, Duke still got worked, so you were wrong.I think Duke just had an awful game plan against Louisville. This was a game where Duke ought to have allowed Louisville to shoot any shot they wanted on the perimeter, but collapse on defense and prevent the drive. Meanwhile, on the other end of the court, this was a game in which Duke ought to have simply played two on the block, and forced the ball inside to Plumlee and Kelly. Instead, Duke did the exact opposite.
There are questions about Roy's coaching, as there also is with Self. The man dominates the Big 12, then often tanks in the Tournament. And Coach K has a great record, but there's always Lehigh.
