And I do think bayern are a great time who I enjoy watching and often rooting for, but will have to be pulling for Chelsea next week... I'm still mad that we didn't pony up the cash to sign Robben back when we had the chance and also still get nightmares from his perfect executed low volley from 30 out that he put past van der sar in the EUFA quarter finals. That goal singlehandedly caused a year of misery for united and rooney's form.

Missed the City ending as I was watching my Gunners hold on for dear life against West Brom. Gotta look up the highlights afterwards, 2 goals within a minute to win the league. Insane.

Now, do I root for Chelsea to win UCL and leave Tottenham out, or have Chelsea lose and miss out altogether? I'm torn...

Happy St. Totteringham's Day to all the Gooners!

The law of Ian Darke, if he is announcing a big game and it's stoppage time, drama will unfold. Donovan world cup, Wombach world cup and now this. He's earning his paycheck.*

It's a lose lose but I'm going Chelsea. Spurs in the CL will give them enough money to keep talent around a bit longer.

The ending of that game is a great example of why you put up with the long stretches of soccer games where nothing happens (in terms of scoring, at least).

great post, but you have to admit that for someone who isn't familiar with soccer, they're going to be wondering why in the hell there was nearly 6 minutes added to the end of regulation

To be fair, I'm not exactly sure, either.

Yeah, don't understand how five minutes were added on.

In addition to normal stoppages, I'd say there was probably at least a minute or two added due to Joey Barton's attempt to start a fight with Manchester City.
