Is that even possible? I thought all the Spanish sides wound up on one side of the bracket.
No brackets in CL. The matchups are drawn prior to each round, so whether RM and Barcelona are drawn into a quarterfinal or semifinal matchup or meet in the finals, it looks like they're on a collision course. Of course, it looked that way last year, and somehow neither made it to the final. I still can't believe that after Bayern finishes mop up duty this afternoon that there won't be a single English team left in the competition. Without one of those sides to pull for, I guess I'll be pulling for Galatasaray or PSG, even though I doubt either have much of a chance of advancing unless they get a very good draw.
Leaving work early. Going to watch game at BWW with a work colleague who is from England and a huge Arsenal fan. I am hoping for another lopsided German win.
Also leaving work early to go watch it at Soccer Taco here in town.
Ribery and Schweinsteiger being out are a little concerning, but Wilshere, Podolski, and a couple others are out for Arsenal, plus Wenger is giving their first team keeper a rest (can't remember his name).
Hoping for a 4-0 win but I expect more of a 2-1 type match.
