I don't know that I would say Spurs are screwed, they still have a game in hand against Arsenal and only trail them by 2 points. However, they do have to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this week and that may well squander their advantage. They're going to wish they hadn't dropped those points to Reading a couple weeks ago, because right now, things aren't looking as bright for CL qualification as they were just a few games ago. What teams do Arsenal and Spurs play from here on in? Chelsea has all but locked down the 3rd place spot.

This is exactly like last season for Tottenham

Worst part is that bale will leave for sure now of they don't make it.

It'll be a shame if Bale leaves, because he's become one of my favorite players to watch. As someone who watches almost exclusively EPL, I'll miss watching him play.

Is Wednesday a must win for Tottenham? I probably wouldn't go that far but a loss would likely end it for them.

Most likely. You can't drop points to reading and Wigan and make it through.

Bright side with bale is that he'll command a massive fee in the transfer market.

SAF to retire at season's end as MUFC manager. Sky Sports reporting that MUFC will appoint a new manager within the next 48 hours.

He will, however, stay on as director after his retirement.

No idea as to who will replace him. I initially thought David Moyes, but Everton talk as if he is staying put.

I'm happy he gets to go out on top. If Moyes goes to Old Tratford that would be big.

We knew this day was coming but still strange. I've never known anything but SAF at United. We will never see another high profile coach with that kind of longetivity at one club again.

Huge game at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. If Spurs can find a way to win, they'll be in good position to qualify for CL next season. A loss, and they're going to be in trouble. Even a draw leaves them in pretty bad shape. It would position them to finished tied with Arsenal in points, but Arsenal is +31 on damn and Spurs are only +18. They'll have to be praying Arsenal can choke away one of their final two games.

Have to think Moyes gets the job with such a short timeline for announcing the new coach and all the media saying its him

No way Mourinho goes to United. He's too big of a sleezeball for such a respected club.

Agreed. Chelsea and Mourinho are perfect for each other.
