Best I can tell the Arsenal game will be on something called mun2 I have dish and finally found it up in the 800s and in spainish which I don't speak What the hell at least I can watch game but at 59 I'm not learning another language. I think if you're a Man U fan you will get you're games on the main NBC channels. When fox had epl the gunners were always a good way to start weekend ( maybe not last few seasons ) but I did get to watch them play. Love watching soccer in morning and BIG ORANGE in afternoon

My dish guide still doesn't say NBC sn is showing the Arsenal vs Villa match but learned from pre match show that Arsenal is second game on network GO GUNNERS. Whew I wasn't looking forward to watching on mun2 in spainish

Worst I've ever seen Arsenal play but have to give villa credit they really mauled Arsenal and Arsenal couldn't handle it. Maybe long season for gunners if they don't buy some help. I bet the fans call for Wengers job and maybe he has been there too long

Bit of an inauspicious start for Spurs, but three points are three points. Don't know how Chrystal Palace plan to stay up if they're gonna pack it in with ten behind the ball for 90 minutes every week.

It was rough going no doubt, but as you said, at least they managed to avoid picking right up where they left off last season by dropping points to a team at the bottom of the table. They need to resolve this Bale nonsense and soon. They're teetering on the edge of reaching a point in time where even if they sell him, they won't be able to put any of that money towards filling that massive hole in their lineup until half the season is gone. If they sell him at least they'll be £100M to the good, but if they sell him on the final day before the transfer window shuts, I'm going to be pissed.

Spurs are about to drop £60mil on Willian and Lamela. Bale is as good as gone.

Given the level of spending that's already occurred, that means AVB and Levy have turned one Gareth Bale into Soldado, Chadli, Capoue, Paulinho, and now Willian and Lamela. I know none of them are as good as Bale, but even if half of them work out then it's a pretty obvious upgrade.

It seems Willian is closer to being done than Lamela. I would be interested in seeing the starting 11 once everything is all sorted out.

Soldado
Chadli Willian Lennon
Paulinho Capoue
Rose Vertonghen Dawson Walker
Lloris

Sub Lamela for Lennon and Coentrao for Danny Rose if either of those go through.

Bale or no Bale, that's a pretty stacked side.

I think Aston Villa is going to have a pretty good season. They've already beaten Arsenal at The Emirates, and got hosed at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. Between an unlucky OG, Ivanovic appearing offside on the second goal and the clear PK that wasn't given on Terry's handball during stoppage time, they deserved at least a draw.

the way villa played the blues does make me feel a little better about losing to them Villa has played well and could have won at Stanford Bridge Pretty tough games so far for Villa

Benteke is a manimal. Easily the one guy about whom I'm surprised that he didn't make a move to a bigger club. Few sides in Europe that he wouldn't start for.
