They need to add some serious quality depth for next year with the likelihood that they make the CL. Really need a LB and some serious creativity from the midfield.
COYS...man that loss to Norwich will be the game that comes back and haunts Tottenham...just as Milo said, it was good to see Soldado get his scoring boots on, esp from somewhere besides the penalty spot. Would be lovely to see us sneak in and it be Assenal who drops out
Anybody out there watching the games from Europe It is best soccer with best players in the world I expect little response but if there is others who would like to discuss the games I started thread probably just get grief I'm a big Arsenel fan and pulling for Wigan to upset Man City in FA Cup
A lot of us here do. To me the CL is the best yearly tourney in the world. Big game against you guys tomorrow. I give a lot of respect for the way you all played us in the first leg. Arsenal played with no fear.
didn't get to watch the game today, but saw it was a 1-1 draw.
Looked like Bayern controlled quite a bit of the possession at around 66%.
anything noteworthy?

Pep's teams dive. Whether you like it or not
True, but I don't know if that one can be attributed to Pep. Sorry if I'm wrong, I don't watch a lot of Bayern games, but isn't Robben pretty well known for being a diver even before Pep got there? I do remember in the 2010 World Cup Final a lot of people were shocked he didn't dive when Carles Puyol clearly fouled him outside of the box and that would've potentially left Spain with 10 men. And throw Ribery in as well to that category. A lot of my French friends really say that is their biggest complaint about him.
Robben has always been pretty bad about diving. I don't really believe Pep teaches his players to dive, I just think it's commonplace in Spanish football.
I wish the Spanish were more upfront about it. Central and South American footballers tend to be a bit more open about diving just being a part of their game.
I think it's legitimate strategy, I just prefer teams/players who don't use that style.
