Hopefully Van Gaal will have Manchester United back where they should be very soon! It's good to be a fan of Bayern Munich,it's great to have two championships in a row!

They won't be promoted to the EPL, but to League Two of the Football League.

The promotion game for the EPL is this coming weekend between QPR and Derby. Leicester City and Burnley have already secured automatic promotion by finishing 1st and 2nd in the Championship this season.

I guess I will be pulling for QPR but only because I'd like to see Nottingham Forest back in EPL and it might be easier for them to obtain promotion with QPR already there. Be interesting to see if Norwich City has the resources to go back up next season.

Queens Park Rangers defeat Darby County 1-0. Darby County dominated most of the game but QPR win 1-0. QPR plays in the Premier League next season

I've got BeIn channel but had to be away from the house. I think there's a replay airing tonight. I heard a commentator state that Derby is still building but I wonder if that's the case. I'd like to see some of the clubs that have had historical success get back up. Nottingham Forest and SWFC are two I'd really like to see in the Premier League.

That goal had been coming for about half an hour. Atletico came SO close to making it to the finish line, but I'm not sure they're up for another 30 minutes.

He definitely redeemed himself for the handful of bad misses he had throughout the game.

From a WC standpoint, it's really a shame he decided to play internationally for Wales. As a result we'll likely never see him play in one. Apparently he was also eligible to play for England.

I just have to lol at how important Ronaldo thinks he is for scoring that penalty. Dude has been a ghost all game, scores his penalty, and thinks he is some hero. Di Maria is MOTM by far

He was a sub so you can't really give him man of the match but I thought Marcelo was the best player on the pitch the whole time he was out there.

Agreed. I'm sure he was excited to get in on the scoring in front of his home nation, but scoring a PK in the 120th minute of a 3-1 game is no real accomplishment.

is that really surprising? dude's known to have a huge ego lol

but damn, was hoping for atletico to win (mainly because I dislike real madrid)
