I can see that, but I'm optimistic with the way Suarez and Sturridge played this season. It was the back line that let them down and they look to be addressing that in the offseason.

They're going to have to add some serious depth in order to handle the added rigors of playing in the CL and still remotely contend in the league. Maybe the best thing would be if they can do what City did and just get bounced from CL early. Seems to have worked out pretty well for them.

Celtic United is really kicking arse this season in Scotland, they are 30-5-1. The next victim is St Johnstone. I wonder how Celtic would do against Liverpool or Manchester City?

Rangers and Celtic might be good enough to stay up in the EPL but not much more than that

Even if they'd held on 3-0, that was going to be pretty worthless. They needed something like 6-0 wins today and Sunday, and still had to hope City struggled to score in their final two matches.

Winning would hace helped if ManC decides to draw against West Ham. Now we have to depend on West Ham to win.

Pulling for hull for no discernable reason other than screw man u, but is this really going to be giggsys last time strapping boots on at old Trafford? Crazy.

Still a heartbreaking way to lose the title, but I'm more than excited to see them in Europe next season.

And probably equally glad to see United miss out entirely. Didn't even qualify for Europa League.

I think we've discussed this before, by Liverpool's focus this offseason HAS to be upgrading their defense. They conceded 50 goals this year and that's just not title winning material.

Absolutely, but after finishing 7th last season to get this close to the title, is hugely encouraging.

As far as their defense, Skrtel and Agger should be the only ones brought back. The rest were subpar all season.

If anyone learns that the Scottish Cup final will be televised in the US please post channel and time. I've had an interest in St. Johnstone due to a family connection and I'd enjoy watching this match, preferably live.

I doubt it gets televised in the states, but you could possibly find a stream for it online.

first row sports usually has a lot of soccer streams, but mostly more popular leagues like EPL and La Liga.

Hull city strikes first. As a casual soccer fan, it's disappointing to have Gus Johnson on the call versus someone like Darke.

Wow, now 2-0.

With the way the TV contracts have worked out, I don't think ESPN will have any soccer rights after Euro 2016. Hopefully after that either NBCSN or Fox will hire Darke. He's about as good as they come.
