Allowing the winner to qualify for the next year's CL has added immensely to the intrigue of the competition. Also, they should be excited. They absolutely demolished a Spanish side that's already qualified for CL. Seems like a pretty decent accomplishment to me.

No no. I get it. These Thursday European games are awesome.

And beat Borussia Dortmund who is arguably the most dangerous scoring team in the world and have totally turned around since Klopp was hired. But they should totally be like Barca, who buy the greatest players in the world and still can't win a CL Final. :eek:lol:

What is this post?

Dortmund is the most dangerous scoring team in the world? What are you talking about?

Barcelona have won 3 of the last seven CL finals. And won last year. Are you this thick or are you trolling?

I mean no team besides Barcelona has won more than one CL final in the last 13 years. Barcelona have one four and is considered by virtually anymore than isn't as stupid as you to be the best club in the world.

Your reading comprehension lacks as well, apparently.

Aubamayeng, Reus, Kagawa and Mikhataryian are extremely dangerous goal scorers and they are ONE OF the most dangerous scoring teams, especially with their current form.

As far as Barca, you have three of the top players in the world on your team, and you're now out of CL competition and are very close to losing the La Liga title. I find it humorous with your superiority complex that Atletico and Real have advanced in the CL and might take the league title as well.

Also, Liverpool are one of the most successful teams of all time in European competition, so before you act like Barca is superior to every other team, learn some history...

Yeah man. Good teams lose games. Not that crazy. We went through a three week slump and it cost us the CL.

We will win the best league in the world. We aren't losing either of our remaining games.

And Real Madrid is in the final simply because of a **** draw.

Well with Klopp at the helm, a CL spot with a win against Sevilla and a large transfer budget to work with this offseason (according to rumors around the club), Liverpool will be a very dangerous team next season. So yes, gaining a CL spot in a season in which the manager was fired midseason, would be a heck of an accomplishment.

So Liverpool can't finish top four in a **** league who is known to do nothing in Europe is going to be dangerous next year?

That roster is a long ways from doing anything in the Champions League.

You're ****ing all over them for being for being 8th in a crap league that can't do anything in Europe, yet they just ran the 4th best team in the "best league in the world" (your own words) off the field on their way to a European final. That doesn't quite add up.

You are making conclusions off one game. That's just silly.

Liverpool is in good form right now, but I'm sure you know the saying about form...

Fair enough. Regardless, you were acting like Liverpool fans had no reason to be excited because it was just Europa League. In reality they are one win away from CL qualification, and no matter how you get there, that's a big deal for any club.

My posts last night were in reference to this jackass saying absolutely absurd things.

You're the guy who said Barcelona can't win a CL final. You still haven't given a solid explanation of how that makes any sense

I've never said they haven't won one, you dolt.

Is Barcelona going to win the CL final this year? Yes or no?

It's fantastic they've won it in the past, but they have the most loaded team on the planet and couldn't get it done this year and are in danger of giving away La Liga as well. I find it funny that you're sitting here ****ting on Liverpool when your team spends a small country's GDP on their roster and fail to achieve what they should.

Can't win a final. Those were your exact words.

Do you understand how hard it is to win the CL? And how much luck you need? Not winning the CL does not make this season a failure.

You also clearly don't realize we were playing this season with a limited roster due to a transfer ban which limits rotations. The reason they lost in the CL and choked away a big lead in the league was due to fatigue.

Even with the transfer ban and a three week span that saw us play as poorly as we have in decades, we are one game away from winning the league and one away from winning the Cup. Pretty successful season

Do you understand how difficult it is to earn a CL spot over very good teams when your manager was fired midseason and you were close to bottom of the table?

Liverpool have a lot to take from this season if they can beat Sevilla and earn than spot. You acting like it isn't an accomplishment doesn't make it so...

Liverpool go down to Sevilla. Came out flat in the second half, and several missed hand balls in the first half decided it. Going to be very difficult to lure any major players without the promise of European competition...

Seems so strange for you to be bragging about a league rival of your own team winning a competition that just a couple weeks ago you were basically saying was worthless.

I mean it is worthless to me. I'll mourn if we ever win the EL. Regardless, it's another example of a mid table Spanish team showing the quality depth that La Liga is supposed to not have.
