Germany need to find a number 9 before 2018.

I follow German football and the Bundesliga fairly closely. There's no true 9 out there in German football that I would say is exceptional. No one has stepped up after Klose. Muller, while a great player isn't a true nine, and Gomez while having the physical tools is somewhat unreliable. But that being said Germany did win their last World Cup without having to heavily rely on a striker. I think the loss of a lot of veterans like Schweinsteiger and Lahm is going to hurt more.

The country of Germany should "pull a bayern Munich" and adopt Lewandowski

The season is starting, who do you support.

These are mine.
Arsenal
Celtic
Barcelona
West Ham

It all starts Saturday...

Gotta think this is Liverpool's year finally...If they can stay healthy

I know, I know...We've been hearing that for a while...

Don't think the talent is there if you mean this is the year they can win the title. A top 4 finish would be considered an extremely successful season with this roster, IMO. If they can finish there, next off-season will be a lot easier to lure high profile players, with the promise of Champions League competition.

Klopp made nice additions over the break, and I think Mane will surprise some folks, but I can't think of a single world class player on Liverpool, other than Origi if he continues his development, and perhaps Coutinho (and that's debatable with his inconsistency at times). The teams at the top of the league will have several.

Unfortunately think it's going to be Man City/United/Chelsea/Arsenal for the title.

Also meant to add, the transfer window isn't closed, so selling Benteke, Balotelli, Markovic, etc. can bring some money in for more quality players. I was just addressing the roster as it currently stands. Moreno desperately needs to be sold/replaced as well.

Don't have to have a roster chock full of world class players. Just need the right balance and some luck. LB and GK still worry me the most. But you can't deny the talent of Sturridge, Mane, Coutinho, Firmino, and at times Can and Henderson (don't understand all the hate for him).

One can always hope. Especially after seeing LC do what they did last year.

The pool does have talent, but I'm not seeing them as the league winner yet

I would take 4-5 teams rosters over Liverpool. Finishing top four would be a fantastic season and I would consider that an upset

What a strike from Coutinho!

Liverpool playing like crap but 1-1 with Arsenal at half

Slow start, but the Arsenal penalty and score are directly attributed to Moreno.

If Moreno is not sold or firmly planted on the bench for the rest of the season, this campaign will be a massive disappointment. He is a huge liability in attack and defense, so it begs the question, what use is he and why is he starting on a club like Liverpool?

Well, this is quite the turn around. Klopp must have said something at halftime.

Coutinho makes it 3-1 to Liverpool

Gave one right back.

4-2

I hope this season isn't a repeat of 13/14 where we scored the most goals but also gave up the most goals.

Only the 2nd game in and I will already admit that I was wrong. Really wrong.

Same 'ole Liverpool. :censored:
