Great game by Atletico. Far outclassed by talent level, but they played stellar defense all game. Ramos' goal was close, I thought he was offside.

Overall, good game to watch. On to Copa America!

I agree he played poorly today and converting a clinching PK certainly isn't Balon d'Or winning material, but didn't they say he'd scored 16 goals in CL this year? That's a pretty solid foundation for deserving to win it.

LMAO. He single handily destroyed Barca, Wolfsburg and others throughout the year. Sorry your boy Messi can't score when it matters, just be glad he had Suarez to carry him this year.

Ronaldo clearly the most complete player on the planet. Three CL titles with two different clubs. Messi will never accomplish that because he knows he wouldn't thrive away from Camp Nou.

Ugly scenes coming out from Marseille as English and Russian fans are clashing with each other and police. I'm kinda glad soccer doesn't have the following here in the states as it does in Europe. I couldn't stand these hooligans rioting after every match.
